Come meet Ellie Sparkles. She lives up to her name and shines brighter than all the stars in the universe. This low maintenance cat loves to cuddle and make biscuits, acting as an excellent antidote to winter. If you call her, she will run to you to see what you want. It is important that she keep active and manages her weight. Sometimes she will play by herself and at other times she likes to chase after toys. Her interests include using a ball tracker, a mouse kicker, soft cat toys and a kitty fishing rod. She has been known to drag her fishing rod from the living room into the bedroom as a present. She is quick to welcome strangers into her space. She uses her litter box 100% and likes horizontal cat scratchers. She may do best as an only cat or with slow introductions.

Ellie Sparkles has been a delight to foster. Wouldn’t you want to be her adopter to keep those emerald colored eyes shining?

Alumni update on Nori (formerly Thaddeus) 🥰

I got her a cat tree with a window perch which she loves, she spends a lot of couch time with me and she sleeps on my bed with me every night. Most days she even greets me at the door when I get home. She also had her first vet appointment a few days ago, which she handled very well. She is super tolerant of pretty much anything, I have even been able to brush her teeth and get a harness on her. So far I’d say her main quirk is that she likes to poke around in the shower after I’m done, which results in her paws and tail getting damp, but oh well 😂.

Hey there! Yes, I'm talking to you. Feel free to come over and pay me a visit. The name's Turmeric, chosen for my lovely orange fur -- pretty clever, huh? I adore making new acquaintances and let me tell you, I'll be sure to grab your attention if you're not already focused on me. Snuggling up in your arms or lap is pure bliss for me, and I won't object to a good brushing or being showered with affection. I have quite a few petting hotspots--my belly especially loves some attention, but honestly, I enjoy pets on my back, head, chin . . . pretty much anywhere! Pay attention to my signals because I'll let you know when it's time to switch from petting to some other fun activity. I'm a bundle of energy, always eager to explore every nook and cranny. Oh, and one thing's for sure--I'm a non-stop purring machine.

I am Blue Artichoke though my name should be True Blue. I am True Blue in my devotion. I have been in Feline Rescue Foster Care for six weeks. It has been great but I am ready to find my forever person.

I have learned a lot in Foster Care, such as finding out how much I love sitting on laps. You can be reading, watching TV, meditating or drinking coffee in bed, I am willing and able to keep your lap warm. I am, however, very polite and will wait for you to invite me to join before jumping onto your lap.

I have also learned how to train my people. Sometimes my litter box is not cleaned as soon as I would like. I have found that if I meow and give pointed looks, my foster person gets it and does cleanup. Once in a while, my foster person picks me up when I am not in the mood. A quiet gentle hiss says put me down please. My foster person understands that I want to be put down but they are not being rejected. Sometimes I make a point of rubbing their ankles so they know I still care.

I like some quiet time. You may find me under your bedcovers purring. Or in a comfy spot in your closet if there is a lot of activity. The last thing I have learned is that I really like being with my Foster people. If they have been too busy and I am lonely for them, I round them up by meowing, pointed looks and leading them into the living room. They sit in their chairs and I stretch out to the max, belly up. It is just the best.

I wouldn't mind staying where I am but my Foster People are committed to doing foster care and helping other kitties in the way that they helped me.

Hello, I'm Teddy Zawadi. My days are filled with naps, playtime, and lots of love. I'm quite the social butterfly, always eager to greet anyone with head bonks who visits me. My purrs are my way of saying, 'I'm glad you're here.' Cuddles? Oh, I'm all in! Just avoid my belly, it's a bit ticklish. I enjoy the simple pleasures of life: a warm lap, a good chin scratch, and the occasional treat.

Teddy underwent surgery to retrieve an undescended testicle from his abdomen. Unfortunately, Teddy is hiding his extra testicle well and the surgery was not successful. He will need to undergo surgery again with a board certified surgeon. This is more invasive than a typical neuter surgery.

Foster will need to:
- Monitor incision site for post-surgery recovery after cryptorchid neuter is performed.
- Maintain reduced activity during recovery.

Rosco is such a versatile cat! He's both cuddly and super playful. He loves very easily. Everywhere he goes and everyone he meets, he just makes himself at home and trusts you almost immediately. Although, he might make you late for work if he's sleeping on you and he's just too cute to wake up. He's also a very curious kitty. He might get into some things he isn't supposed to, but as soon as you tell him to stop, he's very smart and will learn to stay away. At one year old, he is very playful, and can keep himself entertained, but he'd much rather be playing with you. Lastly, he's a little chatty. He'll meow to say goodbye, to tell you he misses you when you've left, and to welcome you home. He's filled with so much love and wants to share it!

Meet Neville, a charming feline eager to find his forever home. This playful kitty possesses remarkable athleticism and an insatiable curiosity. Playing is his true passion, and he fearlessly explores anywhere and at any heights, executing daring attacks, occasionally even hanging upside down to capture that elusive toy.

After a rigorous round of play, Neville wants to cuddle on your lap and welcome copious amounts of petting. Until he notices a toy and then he is off again! Neville is a silly boy and he will occasionally emit a playful growl at invisible foes and sometimes before attacking his meal. While he is fearless around imaginary adversaries, he may be frightened by loud noises. This independent guy likes to get his way and may give warning nibbles to indicate his preferences or to grab your attention for a playful interaction. If you do not take his hint, then he may attempt a bite to fully grab your attention. Due to this tendency, Neville may not be the best fit for younger children. Neville's attention can be redirected during these times and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training. A stable and predictable environment where Neville is the only pampered pet will enable him to thrive.

**Stuffing is available for pre-adoption. She is waiting for her spay surgery, but can be adopted once that's complete. **

Stuffing is very young so will need to be adopted into a home with another young cat.

Stuffing is the second born of a litter of four who arrived Thanksgiving weekend. Her first littermate couldn't quite figure out how to nurse until she came along, and when Stuffing came out of the womb she immediately started stuffing her face to get that milk and the name stuck. As the smallest and only girl of her litter, Stuffing has been the most adventurous and bold of the group. She was the first to start meowing, to walk and run and to start exploring outside the nest. Stuffing loves playing in the cardboard box maze, chasing all the toys, climbing (and will perch on a shoulder if allowed) and doesn't mind sitting and fitting herself into small containers. Little Stuff is an affectionate girl who loves playtime, mealtime, and nap time like any kitten and will win over anyone who meets her.

Stormie (white kitten) was found dehydrated at some railroad tracks. Hope (white and black kitten) was also found dehydrated between some rails at a grain facility. Hope also has a tail injury which will need amputation once she gains enough weight to have surgery safely. Both kittens were found to have a GI infection called coccidia so were placed in foster together since young kittens tend to do better with another kitten.
