We are excited to announce the addition of Dr. Lindsay Miller and Dr. Seth Melson to our team!

Lindsay is from Brownton, MN. She received her degree in Biology from SDSU and her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the Univerisy of MN.

Seth is from Trimont, MN. Seth earned his Animal Science degree and his doctorate from the University of MN. With the addition of Seth and Lindsay, our clinic now has 17 veterinarians who provide top quality care for our clients!

We are excited to announce the addition of Dr. Levi Johnson to our staff!

Levi finished his Animal Science degree in 2011 and veterinary school in 2015, both at Iowa State University. After veterinary school, Levi practiced for two years in a mixed animal practice in Northwest Iowa, working with mostly swine and cattle. He then moved to exclusively swine as a production veterinarian for New Fashion Pork for 6 years where he was involved in a variety of roles including health, research and sow production.

Levi enjoys working with a variety of producers to improve health and production.

Levi and his wife, Brenda live in Lakefield, Minnesota with their three young kids. He enjoys fishing in his free time.

Opportunity to work with a team of swine professionals in swine caretaking, health, and research. Join our team!

Responsibilities and Duties

No previous experience needed!

Daily chores and individual care and treatment of pigs
Assistance with data collection (weighing, reading animal identification, counting, sorting, writing)
Feed management
Communicates with manager and team members
General maintenance and farm appearance.

Qualifications and Skills

Knowledge of basic computer programs is preferred
Strong communication skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Employees are not allowed to work with pigs elsewhere or live on a site where pigs are located
Previous experience with pig management preferred but not required
Benefits

Full time with benefits (including health insurance, excellent retirement, paid time off).

Location- Barns are located between Ga***rd and LeSeuer

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00+ depending on experience
