k out our SMF Horses page! Mark & Teri Spence have lived on Seven Mile Farm since 1990. There, they raised three daughters, Greta, Kirstin and Summer. All three girls are grown and on their own. Teri Spence is originally from St. Peter, MN. She started riding and competing as a young child. Teri attended the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. In 1983, Teri moved to Germany. It is in Munich, Germany where she met Mark who is originally from Columbus, Ohio. They married and, eventually, moved back to the United States in 1990. Seven Mile Farm has horses with some of the highest qualiity bloodlines in the market today. Our goal in breeding is to breed for excellence.

This little beauty is the 2024 filly by our stallion, CHEYENNES MOONBEAM aka 'Beamer' by MARTHAS SIX MOONS. Beamer was only bred to one mare last year. This baby is located in Illinois.

Seven Mile Farm bred only one mare to him this year also. Our APHA mare, WHISTLE ME HOME DIXIE is in foal to him for 2025. Gonna be a nice one!

*2019 sorrel (she looks very red roan) APHA breeding stock mare by AWESOME CHROME by FIRST DOWN DASH and out of an APHA 1D mare. She had a nice filly this year by a son of JUDGE CASH, but the filly got injured and had to be put down. She is open.
*2023 Palomino gelding by A SMOOTH DASHER by A SMOOTH GUY and out of a money-earning daughter of TOAST TO DASH / out of a daughter of CHICKS BEDUINO.

SMF HORSES AT PLAY!!

**PAST Seven Mile Farm BABIES** This is MOON STREAKTOVEGAS aka ‘Mooney’ and Jill Patteson. Mooney is by FRENCH STREAKTOVEGAS and out of our former mare SHAMROCKS SCOOTER aka ‘Martha’ (who I had to put down 2 years ago). Martha is by MARTHAS SIX MOONS and out of a daughter of EASILY SMASHED and had a kick-butt barrel racing career). She was my best and most loved SMF broodmare. Mooney is a 2015 colt and was purchased by Jill as a weanling. Jill has brought him along and he is now a 1D barrel horse. 🔥🔥 Just a side note….I purchased our former stallion, EASY SMOKER (Rest In Peace, Smoke), from Jill who is from Rockdale, Texas.

We are so crazy excited! Our excellent trainer, Hannah Zimmer and our excellent jockey, Lenna Peterson took Smoothie to a barrel race in Verndale yesterday. This was Smoothie’s VERY FIRST time running the alley. Almost to be expected, he overshot the first barrel a bit because of it, but Smoothie and Lenna added some speed on this one and placed in the 2D!! They ended up 16th out of 98 riders!! Wow! 🎉👏🏼🎉👍🏼

Here is another Seven Mile Farm stallion we brought into this world! :) THIS JUDGE RULES aka ‘Delta’ is by JUDGE CASH and out of a daughter of JETS EASY ROLL. We sold him as a yearling to Cornelia Jestice and she has trained him. He is also just starting his barrel racing career and is a star in the making! 💕👏🏼👍🏼🌟

Smoothie is coming along GREAT! Hannah Zimmer has been riding him for 7 weeks and he is improving quickly. Jodi Lee gave him a good start last year! Smoothie is most likely going to run in his first competition this upcoming weekend!!

Seven Mile Farm stallion, A SMOOTH DASHER aka ‘Smoothie’ is back in training. He has had a year off of riding and we are excited to see where he goes from here! Hannah Zimmer has taken him in and will be continuing with his barrel training and maybe even get some barrel races in with him. The videos are of his first ride in a year! He did great but he is really out of shape! Smoothie is a 2016 Perlino by A SMOOTH GUY. He is expecting 12 babies in 2023. 😊

Emma Bahr riding FEATURE TAC FLASH aka ‘Faila’, former Seven Mile Farm horse. We bought Faila as a 3 yo right off the track. Emma owns Faila now and is getting better and better on the barrel pattern! So fun to watch them run!

Here is a video of SMOKIN EASY FEATURE aka 'Feature'. This is also a Seven Mile Farm baby. He is by EASY SMOKER and out of my barrel mare, FROSTYS LIL TOOTSIE. Ev Morehouse got him right after he was weaned and has trained him. This is another EASY SMOKER baby that is starting to kick butt. Ev still owns him but he is being ridden by Jodi Lee in this clip. Our 2021 black colt's new home fell through. So, I am again looking for a new home for him. He was born on 11Jun21 and is by our stallion, A SMOOTH DASHER by A SMOOTH GUY and out of a kick-butt barrel racing money-earning daughter of BRIMMERTON. He is due to be weaned at the end of September, but that can be flexible. He is built NICE and has a cute, confident personality. This boy will be a great one. Located in southern Minnesota.
