Not sure who's all is going to see this but wanted to post here either way just in case...For those who didn't know, this page has been compromised/hacked which is why Ive stopped using it since I couldn't get it closed down but for those who still can see this page,I just wanted to let yall know,I will be going in for bilateral mastectomy in December, at most ill do radiation after if needed and will be back to working by Jan 20th .....Been a very long and crazy year,glad it's almost done lol I'm looking forward to feeling better and getting back to working fulltime again lol

Last week I had the privilege of helping out with 2 fur babies who were rescued from a bad situation,white one is about 17 years old named pepper and the brown one is named coco and is about 3 , both were severely matted/pelted and coated in urine on the back ends due to the mats, there guessing it's been about 3 years since the white one has been groomed,and this was cocoas first ever groom and considering her condition she was nervous but very brave for the whole thing..

As some know I stepped on a nail over the weekend,it went all the way through my foot,hit the bone and got pretty infected, so I had to reschedule some appts from over the weekend into this week,but due to the storm the shop will be closed Wednesday, anyone who was rescheduled to come in Wednesday is welcome to come in today....I will wait to see what the storm does before I decide about Thursday.

Very sorry I didn't get this update posted sooner just been a crazy past few weeks,but yes I will still be at my shop until at least the first of the year due to my lease. The arcade moved out of the plaza so the issue resolved itself thankfully.

September 1 2023 my shop will be moving, due to on going issues with that arcade that's moved into the plaza and zero help from the landlord in resolving anything ,so after almost 3 years in this location it's just better for me and my daughter to move to avoid anymore issues from the arcade....I already have a location picked that's not to far from the shop that I will be moving to,and for those clients who don't drive who use to walk there dogs to my shop for grooming, I will be offering a pick up and drop off service at no charge....And yes, I am still taking appts and accepting new clients right now, it's business as usual until I move the shop lol

I had a house guest this weekend so he had to come to work with me on Saturday...He got to hang out and be the "shop helper"...all day he stood at the tub offering "moral support " when dogs got a bath lol

Took a video of Benji and Gracie since he was so scared at first, I usually do this with new dogs when they come in this scared so I can track how much they improve with each visit...I wasn't expecting him to act like he did though, he was looking all around the shop like he was looking for something,he's been here many times already so nothing is new here....I'm pretty sure he was looking for Shannon,he kept going to her table and when I lowered it he jumped on it a few times ....

As some know I record grooming sessions when I'm working with a dog that has grooming anxiety or behavioral issues of any kind,I do this for a few reasons but mainly to help show the pet parent how there fur baby responded to me as well as to track progress throughout grooming sessions.I was expecting to really have my work cut out for me today with Ms Sophie,she has pretty bad grooming anxiety and needs to be given a sedative before her grooms and in the past she's still had some issues even while medicated but she seemed to respond really well with me today, she allowed me to handle her without needing to be muzzled, towards the end she did try to bite me twice but nothing major, but she handled her entire groom like a champ, her ears and face weren't perfect today but we were able to end the groom on a positive note and accomplished a full groom in 45 minutes without and issues or her stressing to the point of aggression and that's a huge accomplishment with fur babies who have anxiety like she does!! Can't wait to see how well ms Sophie does at her next appointment,her and Rocky are both sweet babies,I'm very proud of how brave she was today!!!
