Most days Ziggy will join Emma at work. We love how Ziggy comes running in the office so excited to see everyone and always has her tail wagging!

Since Thanksgiving Day is only 1 week away, here are some tips to keep your pet safe during the festivities

Balanced Genetics will be closing at 12:00pm on November 27th and closed on Thanksgiving Day. We will be open normal business hours on Friday November 29th.

November 16th is National Slobber Appreciation Day and if you’re wondering why such a day exists, let me tell you about it.

This special day is dedicated to dogs that drool started in 2012 as a way to spread more awareness about dog breeds that drool and it’s been celebrated ever since and gaining more popularity each year.

National Slobber Appreciation Day started off as a day for Newfies but over the years many other breeds have joined in on the day so this day is dedicated to all breeds that slobber!

Mae and her 10 puppies came into for a checkup! She is such an amazing mom and so attentive to her puppies. We enjoyed getting to love on them while they were here.

Smooch came in when her mom noticed that she was walking a little stiff and seemed to be painful. After Dr. Montilla exaimned her, it was determined she was suffering from a pinch nerve. We used electroacupuncture and aquapuncture to help reduce the inflammation and relieve Smooch's pain. She is now on the road of healing.

We had our first BG pumpkin carving/decorating night. We enjoyed delicious food, Halloween music, pumpkin fun and getting to spend time together. We are so lucky to have such an incredible team and work family. We look forward to many more of these celebrations together🎃🎃

Ellie is getting some love and butt scratches from Emma before she gets prepped for surgery. She came in for a laparoscopic assisted ovarian sparing spay as well as laparoscopic assisted gastropexy.
