Ares the Great Dane and Prometheus the Belgian Malinois both came in with ear infections. After running an ear cytology, we sent them home with the right medications to get those ears feeling better in no time! 💙

Hey Everyone!!! This lil buddy is named Thomas! He was on vacation with his family here in Florida and ended up in an altercation at a local beach. We are so glad his owners brought him to us for care! Our team was able to sedate him and assess his wounds. He was sent home with the E-collar you see in the photo as well as some medications to make him more comfortable while he heals. We sure hope he feels better soon and that he and his family give Florida another chance.

Hey Y’all! I’m his little friend is named Gucci! We saw him a few days ago and absolutely fell in love with him and the way he was snuggled up with Susan here I think the feeling is mutual! With the heat still in full swing, remember that our furry friends feel it too! Walking your dog in hot weather can lead to heatstroke and other injuries. Here's why: Concrete and asphalt retain heat, making it much hotter for your pet, and these surfaces can burn their paw pads. When it’s above 80-85 degrees, it’s best to walk your dog in the early morning or at dusk. If that’s not possible, keep walks short and stay on the grass. Always provide plenty of water and watch for signs of heatstroke, such as excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, and confusion. If you notice any of these, bring your pet to us right away.

Hey y’all!! This little love bug is named Levy! We recently saw her for and infection in one of her glands. 🥺 We were able to sedate her, irrigate and clean the infection and send her home on a few medications!!! We sure hope she is feeling back to normal soon!!!

Happy Monday! This cutie is Sebastian! He was the best patient ever. He was experiencing some urinary symptoms. He had too small a bladder to get a sample for testing, but we still gave subcutaneous fluids, an injectable antibiotic, and medication to go home. He got lots of treats, and chin scratches. I’m so glad he had a comfortable visit with us. We hope he is doing well!

Hi everyone! This is Henry. He had some tummy upset. We performed bloodwork, and sent home medications. We did everything in the room with dad because he was so nervous. He earned his bravery certificate! He left with his tail wagging and we hope he feels better soon!

As temperatures soar, please remember that our furry friends feel the heat too! Walking your dog in hot weather can lead to heatstroke and other injuries. Things to know:

Hot Surfaces Hurt: Concrete and asphalt hold heat, making it much hotter for your pet and can burn their paw pads.

Use extreme caution with your pets around water! Consider a life jacket if you will be around a pool, lake, or other large body of water. Don’t leave your pet unattended near the pool also if you’re anywhere with alligators or other predatory wildlife in the water keep your pets away from the shore.

Hi everyone! This photogenic frenchie loved her certificate for sweetest face. She was here for an eye issue. We fully examined her, stained her eye to check for corneal ulcerations, and sent her home with the proper medication. We hope her eye gets better soon!

Nitro here is maybe my new best friend, he was the sweetest and friendliest lil guy we’ve seen in a while. Which is saying something.
