CHAH Fur Family, we hope that you are all doing ok and everyone is safe after the storm.
As many of you are without power, the Live Oak Clinic is also affected by the widespread power outages in Suwannee County. We plan to resume normal business hours at full capacity as soon as power is restored to the clinic.
In the meantime, Caring Hands Animal Hospital of Lake City does have power and will resume normal hours tomorrow, 8/6/24.

Update!!

Caring Hands Animal Hospital of Live Oak will be closed this coming Monday 08/05/24. We have decided it will be the safest option for our staff, clients, and patients. If you currently have an appointment of Monday we will reach out to you to reschedule for your earliest convenience. We will continue to provide updates on facebook regarding our business hours. We will resume normal business hours as soon as we are able to do so, pending storm damage and power outages.

We want to let you know that we did not make this decision lightly. After keeping up with updates from NOAA we believe this is the safest and best course of action for everyone. Our Lake City location will resume normal hours on Tuesday 08/06/24. Live Oak clients can contact our Lake City office by calling us at (386) 752-8899. We will post updates about Caring Hands Animal Hospital of Live Oak as we know more in the following days.

So every week I get Countless calls of people wanting to surrender their pets and the biggest reason is they cannot afford food💔 I always offer to help with food to keep the pet in the home and not in the shelter, even if it's temporary until i can get it placed..and also provide fosters with food to help with the animals they foster! With that being said supplies are REALLY LOW and I could definitely use some food donations for all (dry and wet, puppy and adult, kitten and cat) Please help!!

Did you know, pets can have allergies just like you an I?! May is Asthma and Allergy awareness month for pets.
Allergies and asthma in pets can present in a variety of ways that are different than allergies in humans. If you suspect that your pet has asthma or allergies, these are usually a life long condition for the pet and will likely need medical management to keep them comfortable.
