Dogo Breakfast Mealtime Games
The best Fox turned 6 yesterday!! I couldnโt ask for a better partner ๐ฆ๐
Does your dog nip at your guests? When we break down a dog that is biting, it comes down to tiny impulses. Everything Daisy does is FAST FAST FAST!! We are working on slowing this little girl down, along with all her activities. This little exercise is practicing going over the top of the little pole and doing it slow enough to step on it using her back feet. When she jumps over, we start again. When she walks over, I pay with food. Getting Daisy to walk over instead of just jumping over, takes her thinking about her actions before she does them. Over time, this exercise mixed with others can help a dogโs brain slow down and think things through before making a decision. Look how quick she understands standing on the post pays more than just walking across. ๐ช๐ผ
Great American Teach In ๐
This was such a special event to be a part of. Different professionals came from all over town to help the kiddos discover the endless opportunities they can have if they work hard.
We had the most fun running the Relay Races and hearing the kids cheering the Teams on.
Each Team introduced themselves and told the kids their favorite thing about their dog. We talked about teaching the dogs manners like not jumping on people. The kids seemed to like that. ๐
We are beyond honored to be invited back for our 3rd year. The Great American Teach In has definitely become a favorite for the Tribe Teams and we look forward to returning next year! ๐คฉ๐

Miss Velvet has been making some HUGE changes towards finding Kalmness during stressful moments. Going slow is our biggest tool when working with any dog, and itโs especially important when working with a nervous dog. Velvet has feelings about life and how things run day to day. Slowly she is building more and more confidence in herself and her family. We love watching Teams keep growing and growing!! Go Velvet!! ๐ช๐ผ
We had a great time meeting this sweet crew that just started coexisting. There has been some feelings between some of the dogs, and expressions with their teeth have begun. We came up with some new daily routines that will teach the dogs and the humans how to all just get along. Big struggles start with baby steps towards Kalmness. This Team did great learning together and kept an open mind for some of our unusual ideas and techniques. Go Team! ๐ช๐ผ
