Gracie (formerly Chunky) came to Florida Poodle Rescue with Princess--who had a huge litter of puppies after they arrived last year. Fortunately, Gracie was not pregnant.
She is a great girl and her family adores her! Looks as if she is responding very well to training too!

โฅ๏ธ๐ฉ ๐พ WHERE ARE THEY NOW?
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you who do so much! I am grateful to you for my new boy Zane (Aka. Fonzie) adopted 7/14/24.
We are 4 months in and doing excellently!
Zane has settled in nicely. He and my 3 year old Lyric love each other. Zaneโs physical health has improved greatly playing with the youngster, chasing iguanas and squirrels. Heโs still highly excited by garbage and Amazon trucks always on the lookout.
Thank you so much for pairing us up!
Hope you get a giggle from the video.

Ma'am, now Millie, our cleft palate puppy who nearly died from multiple seizures as a tiny puppy, was fostered by Savannah.
This video is Millie playing with Savannah's son as she did as a tiny puppy! Millie was adopted by her foster's mother Tracy. This was a miraculous outcome!

Wanda, white girl, is 2-3 years old, maybe 7-8 pounds. Sassy is about the same.
Both were very under weight initially, but have filled out nicely. They play consistently--unless they are on their foster mom's lap.
Wanda and Sassy are being fostered in the St. Augustine vicinity.
Foster mom Renรฉe says Wanda is a real love bug. She likes to snuggle on her lap and cuddle.
Sassy is also very loving. She is still a little skittish, but once she is on my lap, there she will stay.
Both are being good about house training, but it is still a work in progress. The two girls follow everywhere and love to play with each other. If you think you might be interested in one or both of these cuties, please complete an adoption application online. You will receive a confirmation email if your application is received.

โค๏ธ๐ฉ๐พSo Much to Do and So Little Time!
Foster mom, Astrid, says Theo still has his moments of being a bit skittish, but very few as he learns to trust. He's much more affectionate. He won't necessarily seek attention but he welcomes it 100% of the time. It will just take a bit longer for him to warm up to someone, but he's a definitely more playful now as well. He spooned with me on the couch for the first time yesterday!
He gives little kisses all the time. He definitely will do best in a calm household, but he loves car rides and being out and being within eyesight of you. Not a velcro dog, just likes to know where you are!
โค๏ธ๐ฉ๐พ WHERE ARE THEY NOW?
Ma'am (cleft palate puppy born to Princess) now named Millie, was adopted not by her foster mom Savannah, but by Savannah's mother Tracy!
After all the months of 24/7 care, tube feeding, seizures, trips to the vet, emergency room and specialists, Savannah wanted to keep her in their family!
Savannah already had one young son and has another baby on the way, so she is happy to share the love of beautiful Millie with her other family members.
Millie has another family member with a black standard and they love to play!
You may remember she dragged her back legs and couldn't get her footing in the early weeks and months following her birth. We were very worried. Look at her now!
Savannah was the only person who was willing to make the long term commitment it would take to save this precious girl, she was not only Millie's Angel, but everyone else who prayed for a miracle to save a puppy that nearly died at birth.
Millie's mom has adopted her even knowing she will need expensive calcium supplements monthly, regular testing to make certain her dosage is increased when needed and knowing she had a cleft palate that was repaired, but still had a small area that could not be completely closed. The doctors say she should be fine and she eats with no problems.
Congratulations to the new family!
