It's raining Poodles and Poodle mixes! We are desperately looking for foster homes.
Some of the dogs pictured are Standard Poodles others are Mini Goldendoodles.

The mini Goldendoodlens are Puppy, Hope, Mercy, Joy. They should weigh 25 to 26 lbs when they gain weight. They are very thin right now.

They are currently at Black Creek Veterinary Hospital in Middleblurg where they have been vetted and are ready to go to their foster homes.

These dogs require:

* Fenced yards

* And someone who is home most of the time or works from home.

♥️🐩🐾 BEAUTIFUL SIERRA NEEDS A FOSTER HOME ASAP... NEED FOSTER IN CLEARWATER, SEMINOLE, GULFPORT,
ST. PETERSBURG, OR TAMPA AREA..as she needs to have chemo once every three weeks for 10 weeks at Tampa Bay Vet Specialists in Largo.
Her foster mom in Lakeland had to have surgery and now needs recovery time.
Sierra is 8yrs, 58lbs, and needs another large dog to play with--she is very active and a bit too active for small dogs.
Loves to run, needs 6ft fenced back yard. Good with previous owner's grandchildren.
But she is likely to knock over toddlers. Older kids that want to play with her would be great.
Always ready to chase her red Kong or a tossed ball in the house. She is always present, barking and having fun when people are in the pool. Acts like she wants to get in, but just doesn’t have the courage to take the plunge! She would LOVE agility training. Sierra is 8 and acts like she is 2!

♥️🐩🐾 NUGGET'S SEARCH IS OVER!!
Sweet Nugget came with a group of minis that were abandoned on the road a couple of months ago. Astrid and her adorable son had been fostering and though they were in love with him, it was not the right time for them to get another dog. Meanwhile, they gave him plenty of love and trained him to use a bell when he needs to go potty.

Nugget was adopted by Susan and her husband Nick. They have an adopted
Aussidoodle who is a playful and sweet girl. They were looking for a playmate for her and Nugget was the perfect fit. He's young and full of energy. He needed a home that had another dog and a fenced yard and that's just what he got. Susan and Nick are amazing dog owners and they will give Nugget all the love and attention he needs.

Thanks to Becky for checking references and especially to Astrid for patiently working with Nugget and taking such good care of him.

♥️🐩🐾 DOUBLE THE LOVE & FUN!!
Reya and Rosita came from the same group of dogs that were abandoned a couple of months ago. Mary, our wonderful volunteer pilot, flew them from Jacksonville to St. Pete and offered to foster them for a couple of days which turned into two weeks. From day one, we noticed that these cuties were bonded, they slept together, ate together and wherever you saw one the other was next to her. They loved playing in the yard and were very fast runners. We knew that they really needed a fenced yard. At the end of two weeks, they needed to be moved to another foster because Mary had other commitments. Charley and Beth who are an amazing foster couple said yes to taking them. They continued working with them and also confirmed that they were bonded. It is not always easy finding someone who is ready to adopt two dogs, particularly at a time when for economic reasons people are giving up their dogs. Enter Star and Jake with their beautiful daughter, Summer. They had lost to cancer, the poodle they had adopted from another rescue about 10 years ago. They waited a bit and were now ready to adopt another dog or dogs. They were very interested when we told them about Reya and Rosita.
In Charley's words, Rosita (now RUBY) and Reya (now CORAL) went to their forever home today. Star and Jake along with their amazing daughter, Summer had previously met Reya and loved her. Today they met Rosita and also fell in love with her. It took only a few minutes and a few treats for the girls to start bonding. Before they left, the girls were passing out puppy kisses and readily got in the car for their trip home. They will be living in a nice home with a great backyard for running and playing, which is what they really needed. They now have their very own girl and best of all, each other. Thanks to generous people, these two girls are staying together. May they have many years of love and happiness.

♥️🐩🐾EARTH ANGELS TO THE RESCUE
It always fills our hearts with joy when one of our seniors gets adopted. Benjamin is a special 11yr old who was surrendered to one of our vets by his owner because he couldn't afford to take care of him. In turn, the vet called us for help. His coat was in awful condition and with the loving care from James, his foster dad, we started to see the improvement within a couple of weeks.
Kacia and her husband Phillip are an amazing couple who were looking to adopt and were open to adopt a dog of any age. Even though they were leaning towards adopting a puppy if one was available, they were very interested when they heard about Benjamin and didn't mind the fact that his coat, though much improved, was not in perfect shape. They also didn't mind that he had a noticeable cataract in one of his eyes. Other than that he was in good health and to our surprise, because his teeth looked terrible, he had only one extraction when the dental cleaning was done.
Today, they drove from the East Coast to meet him. When Benjamin saw Kacia, he immediately went to her and jumped on her lap and stayed there while Phillip was petting him on the back. They then took him out for a short walk. When they returned the foster asked, "is he yours?" They both said, "absolutely." Benjamin is on his way back to his forever home as we speak.
Special thanks to James who takes dogs that are not in the best of shape and, with his loving care, brings them back to good health and looking good. Thanks also to Robin for checking references and to Delores for doing the home visit.

Dottie is doing great! She is very sweet and already gained some weight. She is well trained, and she is enjoying our small family. She doesn’t play with my other dog, but I hope as the time goes by, they get more comfortable with each other.
I’ll work on a better picture, but in the meantime, I’m sending a picture of her with my husband.

❤️🐩🐾 LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!!!
We just adopted Dolly. The Florida Poodle Rescue volunteers are great people. Kathy and I have been Volunteers since 2020 when we got our Maxie.
All the volunteers we have met have been wonderful. We mostly transport, but have done foster and home visits.
Thanks to all the volunteers for what you do!

❤️🐩🐾 FABULOUS GROOMING!!
Essence at is absolutely amazing and a Standard Poodle superfan! She donated this groom and loved on Bernice for hours to get her here. Bernie has a few skin issues (that are healing nicely) so Essence was extra careful, leaving her coat silky smooth and her skin clean and moisturized. If you are in South Tampa, please think about bringing your furry love to Fifth and Bark for a pampering.
