Despite this being a very busy end of hurricane season in Tampa Bay, with Hurricane Helene last week hitting us and unfortunately Hurricane Milton seeming to be following a trajectory in our direct direction; the geckos seem to be enjoying the rain and wind. Stormy season is always when production takes a huge spike, be it in breeding activity or eggs hatching. It’s a very small silver lining, but one nonetheless. Stay safe everyone in Milton’s path. Pictured are a hatchling pair of Phelsuma comorensis. It’s great to see these guys making a comeback! This season I’ve been lucky enough to produce 7 so far.
