The Stables at Frederica offers comprehensive services to equestrians of all ages and backgrounds. Our facilities include miles of beautiful trails that can be explored through the woods or on the beaches. We also boast 32 airy box stalls for boarded horses, with a full a la carte services menu. Lessons are available for riders as young as 5 years old, and can accommodate beginners to advanced competitors. Our trainers attend local and regional competitions in several disciplines.

The Stables at Frederica offers premier stabling options for horses on St. Simons Island. Our quality facility and staff provides full-care boarding services. 🐴

Amenities included in board:

• 12’x12’ matted stalls with ample bedding cleaned daily

• Automatic waterers in stalls and pastures/paddocks

• Security fence around property with security gates

• Tack rooms with securable lockers

• Quality coastal hays, alfalfa and Timothy mixes additional

• Seminole Wellness feeds available

• Hot/cold wash stalls

• Stall fans and automatic in-stall fly spray system

• Medical paddocks, alfalfa-only paddocks available

• Lit and irrigated 210’ x 100’ all-purpose arena

• Lunging ring

• Additional jumping arena, dressage court, and small square arena

• Heated/AC restrooms, office, and kitchen

Clean and condition with the “icing” side of the sponge and use the loofah bottom for removing bit debris. These are sold as a set of six.*

We are sad to announce that our sweet lesson pony Fuzzy passed away last week. Fuzzy has been with the Stables at Frederica for over a decade, and loved by many riders in that time. He took riders into their first competitions both at home and at away horse shows, and became well-known on the IEA circuit. Many instructors have taught students their first steps of canter on Fuzzy, and watched as Fuzzy would pull riders over to wherever his girlfriends Thelma and Louise would be standing (he thought himself the Brad Pitt of that movie). Fuzzy and his best friend Rusty were well-known trouble makers when placed in field together. It was not uncommon for our morning team members to come in to see that they two had escaped their paddock in order to find greener grass. We are thankful for the many years of love and memories that Fuzzy gave to hundreds of horse lovers. He will be forever loved and missed.

She is US Center for Safe Sport certified, and helps provide instruction for all ages and experience levels in the disciplines of hunt seat equitation, hunters, jumpers, and dressage.
