Good morning, everyone,

I have an important announcement regarding the future of my Rattery, in line with our commitment to transparency. I will be relocating from Salem to pursue my lifelong dream of studying veterinary medicine. As a result, I will no longer be physically present with the rats. However, my younger sister, who has been my apprentice, is confident and fully capable of managing their care and facilitating pickups.

Rest assured, the operations of my Rattery will remain unchanged. I will continue to:

- Communicate with clients
- Arrange pickups
- Vet buyers
- Support clients and their needs

The only change is that my sister will handle the physical pickups, as some of you have already experienced due to scheduling conflicts.

Please note, I may have delayed responses due to my studies. For emergencies, always contact your local veterinarian.

Only available to those wanting THREE not two. Rats do better in trios… preference is always given to those wanting three rats. Must have an application on file or be willing to fill one out

Look at these babies from our current litters🥹 so chunky, I love all of their colors so much. Most have had their eyes open for a while and some have just opened their eyes (the smaller looking ones) they are all so sweet

I have several lovely girls available, some are retired (all under a year old) and a few babies around four months old who were going to be bred here but I have gone a different direction. They are available to anyone with an approved buyer application.

My lovely black silvermane Aspen actually was pregnant with 7 little kits! I paired her to Newton trying to recover my dwindling Dalmatian line, didn’t think she actually was pregnant as she only seemed kinda chubby🤦🏻‍♀️ but alas, little squeaks!
And I got a few lovely spotty Dalmatian babies which I am so grateful and thrilled for🥺💚
Aspen is doing such a wonderful job with her little babies😊

Aspen and her babies are in a 200qt bin cage with modified sides for proper ventilation. This is not a tank.

Yesterday, two lovely girls went to their forever home! It's always hard for me to let them go, but having great rat parents who send updates and stay connected makes it more bearable. They will live a life of complete happiness 😊💚

Paired today! Expecting squeaking beanies in a couple of weeks💫💚 both of these girls grew very fast and are already sitting around the 320g mark… big fatties🙈
The others will be bred later when they are over 300g

Every year I get an influx of messages from parents wanting to “surprise” their kids with living, breathing, sentient animals. My response is always no. Animals are not surprises nor Christmas presents. They are unique individuals with needs and requirements for them to thrive. Rats are not disposable, rats are 1-3 year commitments. Don’t take this as an opportunity to have your kids miss out on getting a pet for Christmas. Instead, take it as a teaching moment- why it’s important to wait for responsibly bred animals, and why animals aren’t impulse purchases. Of course, there is exceptions to this, you know who you are

Newest additions from Fat Ramz Rattery Burmese and roan girls💚 so thrilled to finally have Burmese. I plan on breeding it into my Siamese line💞 little burm girl is such a sweetheart and soo squishy😅
Roan girl was not happy about being in the photo box and was extra squirrely.. so taking pictures of her pretty coat were not going to work out🤷🏻‍♀️
