🎉 It's time to announce our exciting news! 🎉

In April, we called on our community to help Ignite the Spark—and WOW, did you ever! 🔥 What started as a small spark of a dream to create a place for children to grow, learn, and thrive has turned into a blazing flame of hope & opportunity! Thanks to your support, this dream is now a reality.

We are thrilled to announce that we have officially purchased the former IGA/Crossroads Ministries building located at 1909 N. Ellsworth Ave., Salem to expand our programs and better serve the children & youth in our community! 💙🧡

We had BIG dreams with the Donnell Ford building and while that particular plan didn’t unfold as we had hoped, we believe that every step has led us exactly where we need to be. Though it is a downsize from what we initially aimed for, there are several exciting positives:

🌞Lower Operational Costs, allowing more resources to go directly to programs.
🌞Faster Renovation Timeline, getting us up & running sooner.
🌞More Manageable Space for our current staff, volunteers & operations.
🌞Intimate & Welcoming Environment to make children feel more comfortable.
🌞Room to Grow Intentionally with plans for future expansion.
🌞Improved Accessibility for families across Columbiana and Mahoning Counties.
🌞Stronger Community Ties with a building already rooted in local history.

This new space will allow us to provide a safe haven where kids can have their basic needs met, receive academic support, build meaningful relationships, and explore career pathways and workforce development opportunities. It will be a beacon of hope for generations to come, offering social-emotional development & mental health support, and the chance for every child to thrive and have a bright future!
