Moe went for a ride tonight and Ramsey wanted a turn. After a good 15 or 20 minutes, I told Moe she needed to get off and let her brother ride. She wouldn’t do it until I promised Moe she would get one more ride before we went home.
Ramsey is on the horse and Moe heads to the bathroom. Mine and AJ’s conversation goes something like this because he’s ready to be done and go home.
AJ: Grandma let’s hurry up and put the horse up before Monroe gets back.
Me: No, I promise Monroe that I would let her have one last ride to get her off this horse.
AJ: Grandma, she won’t remember.
Me: Trust me, she will remember.
AJ: No,she won’t
Me: She’s a horse girl, of course, she’ll remember. You seen how hard it was to get her off the horse to begin with.
I called her in the arena for her last ride, which she did her happy dance as she giggled. There’s no way she would forget. The girl is a horse girl. They never forget or miss the opportunity to ride.
The photo of her looking at me in the lower right corner is me telling her I needed her to get off the horse and let Ramsey have a turn. Nowhere in that look does she seem happy, in fact, she argued with me about it and refused to get off.
She’s dedicated to this expensive sport and it’s only going to get worse from here. 😂😂😂
