She loves hiking, playing outside and, as we found out, the 6abc Action News camera! Ophelia came to ACCT Philly as a stray, is awaiting adoption at Doggie Style Pets and will be featured on Friday at 10AM/noon.

💔🆘URGENT: Cinnabon Needs a Hospice Foster or Adopter 🆘💔

Today, our hearts are heavy as we share the news about our sweet Cinnabon. Despite every effort, her battle with cancer is growing tougher by the day.

This gentle, loving soul is now considered hospice, and her time with us may be measured in months, if we’re lucky. Cinnabon, who we believe is upwards of 10-12 years old, was found wandering as a stray, her body covered in tumors. We removed as many as we could, but one was confirmed as a Grade 2 mast cell tumor, and another as a subcutaneous mast cell tumor. Her prognosis is heartbreakingly uncertain and every week we see new tumors appearing. It pains us to say that they may have spread to her neck. We believe she may only have weeks or months left 💔💔

For dogs like Cinnabon, each day is a precious gift, and all we want is to surround her with love, warmth, and happiness for whatever time she has left.

We’re desperately searching for someone to open their heart and home to her as a hospice foster or adopter. Given her condition, we hope to find a home without other dogs to reduce any added stress since she can be dog-selective. She has been very sweet, wiggly and gentle with children she’s met.

Cinnabon deserves to experience the peace, comfort, and love of a true home, even if just for a little while. She’s a reminder that life can be so unfair, but in these final chapters, we’re determined to fill hers with all the love she can get.

If you can be the light in Cinnabon’s final journey, please reach out to us as soon as possible. We are shattered to know her time here with us is running out, and she needs you now more than ever.

Benny absolutely hates kennel life. He is already feeling the stress of pound life. 😭He will make sure you notice him as you walk by his kennel. He will cry for you if you don’t stop and say hi. We thought for sure his owner would come for him since he was found with a collar and leash. He probably thought they would come too. But instead he is just another lost soul in an absolutely full county pound😩

Benny is such a love bug. He loves everyone he meets!! He also has met other dogs and done well. He has a beautiful grey brindle coat and gorgeous eyes that speak right to your heart ♥️ He is estimated at 2 yrs old and 65 lbs. He is also so very smart, knowing some basic commands. But mainly he loves just being right by you and getting all the pets you will give him!!
