Unethical in every way, unprofessional and a bully.

Ethical breeders do not breed so many rats that they can’t sell them. They have waitlists and homes lined up for when babies are born and ready to be sent home. Jen breeds several litters at a time. Most ethical breeders only work on one or two litters at a time. Some even take months in between breeding. Truly ethical breeders care about the animals, want them to go to good loving homes.

Jen with Peekaboo Rattery mass culls because she over breeds. She kills rats for every and any reason.

Don’t support a breeder like this when there are breeders who actually breed responsibly and rescues/shelters full of perfectly sweet healthy rats.

Peek A Boo Rattery is a rattery in Salem, OR. The owner Jen Kimble Bohannon has been exposed selling sick, aggressive or injured rats.

Jen kills rats because she breeds too many and they don’t sell.

She kills them using inhumane means. Via smashing rats heads against the floor and taking several hours to suffocate rats with vinegar and baking soda in a pickle jar.

Jen has ripped off customers, keeping their money and not giving rats that have been promised.

Jen thinks it’s okay to send minors pictures of rats that have been attacked, killed and half eaten by other aggressive rats in her rattery.

This is just scratching the surface. Please do not support unethical breeders who abuse animals and jeopardize other people’s pets by sending them home with sick animals.
