Exactly 1 week later and Rocky Storm is off to his new life!! His mom was part of his rescue team and has a 10 month old kitten that was rescued several months ago. Happy adoption picture in comments

I'll keep shouting it out,

EVERYONE can DO something to help a pet in need. Sightings are crucial to learning the dogs routine and why I'm so successful trapping dogs.

I hate that its becoming a weekly, sometimes a daily, thing with dumped pets.

We need better animal welfare laws so the sh*tty humans can be held accountable. Pets aren't disposable or meant for financial gain.

Please be responsible, adopt dont shop and for the love of pets SPAY/NEUTER and MICROCHIP your pets.

Thank you to everyone who kept an eye out and help get this girl to safety.

Such a great memory!! He's living his best life now!

Check out this adorable boy!!! I just got him this morning from Polk County and once we get him vetted and neutered he will be available for adoption.

We don't know much about him as his owner had mental health issues and died last week. So far he's a cute wiggle butt that does well with Roxy and my cats. He seems to love people as well. Stay tuned for his updates 🥰

🐾Duke update🐾

Monday night Duke and his dad were in a horrific accident. His dad is in critical condition and was life flight to Portland. I've been told he has a fractured pelvis among other injuries, he will have a long road ahead of him. Luckily he will be able to push forward knowing his pup is safe.

Tuesday there were a couple sightings near the accident sight. I had been waiting for confirmed sightings so last night I headed out with a trap and was in the area until after 11pm. This morning I went out after taking care of my kiddos and after about 45 minutes I finally saw him.

This rescue was only possible by the amazing group of people that came together. Luckily Dukes mom was out searching the area and doing all the right things. We kept in contact and worked together this morning. With the help of the amazing railroad crew off Cherry I spotted him and got his mom to in the area. He knew mom right away and ran uo to her.

We were amazed he survived and appeared ok, other than his face/eye trauma. Thanks to the amazing, compassion of Dr. Anderson and her staff at Four Corners Animal Hospital for allowing us to bring him in to get a quick exam and medicine to keep him comfortable. We need to wait a few days to see if the swelling in his eye improves and hope his vision returns. If not then it will need to be removed which we will also make sure he gets vaccinated, microchipped and neutered with the help of PAL - Prevent a Litter - Oregon.

After the vet he took a much needed nap and is going to be staying with a family member until he can be reunited with his dad. I will absolutely stay in touch and continue posting updates. Thank you to everyone who helped us get this sweet boy safely!!

Huge thank you to everyone who donated to his care today! We won't need more donations until his next appointment when we determine how he's recovering.

We got Duke just before noon!!
Its been a crazy morning so I'll post an update with photos tonight after work.

Salem Keizer people please keep an eye out and report sightings asap. I'm currently in the area with a trap hoping to see him.

MISSING DOG

Please keep an eye out for this dog. His name is Duke. He was the dog who was involved in the horrific accident last night. The Semi vs Auto. Duke appeared bloody and injured so if hes alive, he may be hiding anywhere. The accident occurred over off Broadway/MLK. Please if you're in the area, keep your eyes peeled and if you find him, he’s friendly, please contain him and let me know. My son’s father was involved in the wreck and this is his dog. ~Kelli
