Are you passionate about working with dogs and creating a safe, fun environment for them to play and socialize? If so, we want you to be a part of our team at Zoomie World Dog Daycare!

POSITION: Dog Daycare Attendant

JOB TYPE: Full-Time position

LOCATION: 4755 Lancaster Drive NE Salem, OR 97302

RESPONSIBILITIES:
✨ Supervise and monitor dogs during playtime to ensure their safety and well-being
✨ Engage in interactive play and activities with dogs
✨ Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of play areas, including regular cleaning and disinfecting
✨ Provide basic feedings as needed
✨ Assist with check-in and check-out procedures for daycare clients
✨ Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pet’s behavior and any special instructions
✨ Follow daycare policies and procedures to ensure a positive experience for both dogs and clients

REQUIREMENTS:
✨ Previous experience working with dogs preferred
✨ Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds with confidence and patience
✨ Strong communication and customer service skills
✨ Ability to work in a team environment and independently
✨ Must be reliable, punctual, and responsible
✨ Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

Hellooo, I’m a fairly new crew member of Zoomie World! My name’s Amirah! Born and partially raised in Stockton, California, but permanently residing in Salem, Oregon. I’ve always loved dogs but truly never had the opportunities to own one myself. Growing up I was always surrounded by cats and even now I own 2, so this mixed energy of both big and small dogs is truly one of the most enjoyable things I’ve ever experienced! When I’m not rolling around on the patios with all these doggos, I’m staying at home and trying to figure out what to draw or what to possibly watch before I fall asleep for that night. This daily dose of excitement is what helps me wind down for the day just like the dogs.
