The winner of the painted pumpkin contest is the Gumball Machine, made by Joe Hyde, the husband of receptionist, Jessica Hyde.
We raised $125 for pets in WNC. We will donate this money to a shelter or spay/neuter clinic servicing those animals whose families have lost so much.
Thank you for voting and giving the donations to support this cause.

The staff had some fun this weekend painting pumpkins together. They wanted to have a contest for the best/client favorite. Stop by this week and view the pumpkins and vote for your favorite.
The staff hopes to raise money via votes to give to Western North Carolina relief efforts.

This should be alot of fun for a good cause.

We want to celebrate our veterinary technicians this week. They do so much to keep us running smoothly at Keowee Animal Hospital. We love and appreciate them so much. 💕 🐾 🐶 🐈.

The new storm donations were delivered to the Garden club at Keowee Key, as they were taking a truckload to WNC tomorrow.

A donor also gave a generous check for future needs that will be delivered to the Beaverdam Baptist association tomorrow.

We will announce again when items will be collected at the clinic. The need in WNC will continue for the forseeable future. Thank you for your generosity. We truely have a loving and caring community.

Donations are continuing to come in. We will take these to Beaverdam Baptist Association today at 4pm for delivery tomorrow. We will continue collecting items next week too. Thank you for helping and any amount is appreciated.
Water, dog and cat food, litter, diapers, wipes, prepackaged wipes.
More items will be added next week as the needs become more apparent.

We can now accept dog food and cat food. We have a group that is taking those supplies up to Asheville. Open 9-12 tomorrow to accept donations.

So we are taking donations that will be transported to the hard hit areas in Western NC. We can only take what is listed below. We WILL take dog and cat food donations once we have a contact that can distribute these items in the hard hit areas in need.

The items below can be dropped off at our office, Keowee Animal Hospital, today until 5, tomorrow 9-12 and Thurs 8-5. The items will be delivered on a large transfer truck Friday. We will continue to collect items next week as well.

We will also let you know when we can take dog and cat food donations.
Lets help our neighbors in need and get those donations in.
This is headed by the Beaverdam Baptist association located in Seneca.

Keowee Animal Hospital has resumed normal operating hours with restored power, water and internet services. Pictured is our team meeting this morning giving us a chance to connect and prepare for full operations.

As our region recovers from the aftermath of Hurricane Helena, our hearts go out to everyone affected.

We will be OPEN on Monday, Sept 30th, from 8-5. Power was restored but still no internet. So we will only be able to accept cash and check. Our phones are internet based, so they are down as well. If you have an appt on Monday, we will be happy to see you. If you were suppose to be seen on Friday and your pet is ill, please come to the office and we will try our best to see you on a walk in basis. Please be patient and kind to our staff and other clients. we want to help you and your pets, we just ask for grace.
