Biggie Paws Rescue Biggie Paws Rescue (BPR), is a foster based 501(c)3 non-profit rescue serving WI and IL. All pets are re-homed based on their specific needs and best interest.

Our animals most often come to our attention through rescues in Texas who we have partnered with to help decrease the homeless pet population and reduce the high euthanasia rates in shelters. We believe by educating the public about the importance of adoption and spay and neuter, we are helping reduce that number and hopefully one day we won’t be needed. All pets will have a home and are “adoptab

le” if we find the right family. All animals are taken to our veterinarian partners for a complete examination, worming, vaccinations, spaying/neutering (as breed/age appropriate) and micro-chipped. We provide medical care and a safe, nurturing environment for our animals to enjoy while they await adoption in foster homes. We want our rescued pets to experience love in a real home, getting the love and attention they need while waiting for their new forever families. To ensure these animals are placed into the right loving home, we adhere to a rigorous adoption process. Reference and background checks are performed, adoption interviews are conducted along with virtual home visits. Our overall goal is to ensure the pet is healthy, sterilized, and best match for the potential adopter in an effort to reduce any chance that the pet will be returned. Our organization is 100% funded by donors so that we may provide shelter, medical care, and so much more to the many homeless animals that come our way. We are very thankful for all our fosters, volunteers and donors who contribute their time, money, home and hearts, allowing us to continue our mission of rescuing and rehoming abandoned, neglected and unwanted pets.

Oakley Is looking for a new home! 🏠

She’s a 3 year old German Shepherd-Golden Retriever mix. She weighs 65-70 pounds. Oakley’s previous owner had lost their home and no longer able to provide for her.

She is currently being fostered near Fort Atkinson, WI. Oakley is current on all vaccinations and has been spayed. Her foster Is asking for a $300 rehoming fee to cover the cost of her veterinary and routine care.

Oakley gets along well with kids and other dogs. She will get along with friendly cats but is otherwise afraid of cats. She is very affectionate and loves cuddles and attention! At night she prefers to lay in bed or on the floor.

Oakley is housebroken but pees when excited or suddenly scared. Seeing another dog are some things that get her excited.

We think that with a good routine and some basic training that Oakley could gain the confidence she needs to become an obedient and well mannered dog!

🐾 Meet Camo!
This scruffy little underdog is a 9 lb chihuahua mix with a comeback story better than any soap opera. He was attacked by a bigger dog and came out the other side like a fuzzy little warrior prince. Now fully healed and back to full zoomie strength, Camo is all heart, all snuggles, and a whole lot of personality wrapped in a tiny body.
Camo is crate trained (sleeps like a dream!), leash trained, mostly housebroken, loves kids, and plays great with other dogs. He’s very affectionate, slightly dramatic, and completely convinced the world revolves around belly rubs—and honestly, we don’t blame him.
