Biggie Paws Rescue

Biggie Paws Rescue (BPR), is a foster based 501(c)3 non-profit rescue serving WI and IL. All pets are re-homed based on their specific needs and best interest.

Our animals most often come to our attention through rescues in Texas who we have partnered with to help decrease the homeless pet population and reduce the high euthanasia rates in shelters. We believe by educating the public about the importance of adoption and spay and neuter, we are helping reduce that number and hopefully one day we won’t be needed. All pets will have a home and are “adoptab

le” if we find the right family. All animals are taken to our veterinarian partners for a complete examination, worming, vaccinations, spaying/neutering (as breed/age appropriate) and micro-chipped. We provide medical care and a safe, nurturing environment for our animals to enjoy while they await adoption in foster homes. We want our rescued pets to experience love in a real home, getting the love and attention they need while waiting for their new forever families. To ensure these animals are placed into the right loving home, we adhere to a rigorous adoption process. Reference and background checks are performed, adoption interviews are conducted along with virtual home visits. Our overall goal is to ensure the pet is healthy, sterilized, and best match for the potential adopter in an effort to reduce any chance that the pet will be returned. Our organization is 100% funded by donors so that we may provide shelter, medical care, and so much more to the many homeless animals that come our way. We are very thankful for all our fosters, volunteers and donors who contribute their time, money, home and hearts, allowing us to continue our mission of rescuing and rehoming abandoned, neglected and unwanted pets.

Khloe is approximately 6 years old. She looks like a Terrier Mix/Yorkie. She weighs about 22 pounds and is currently staying in Kenosha, WI.

This sweet 💕 girl is not just a dog; she is a loving companion ready to enrich your life with her affectionate nature and gentle demeanor. Khloe is the epitome of warmth and affection. She thrives on human interaction and loves to cuddle 🤗 …making her the perfect lap dog. Her personality is wonderfully balanced; while she enjoys playtime, she also appreciates her quiet moments and is happy to relax by your side. 🥰 If you’re a fan of cuddles and want a dog who will greet you with joy after a long day, she is the pup for you !

This little lady LOVES ❤️ the kiddos …making her a great addition to families. She gets along great with other dogs 🐕 and has shown her friendly nature by interacting well with her foster sibling. Although we are unsure about her reaction to cats, 🐈 her gentle temperament suggests she may adapt well with proper introductions.

Housebreaking 🚽💩 can sometimes be a concern for prospective pet owners, 🤔 but Khloe shows promise in this area. While we were informed that she was housebroken, she has had a few accidents indoors. 😬 This could potentially be due to a urinary tract infection (she is scheduled for a vet appointment this week to ensure her health and comfort). Notably, she has never had an accident in her kennel, which indicates she understands where to do her business. With a little patience and training, we believe she can become fully housebroken.

When it comes to leash 🦮 training, she has only been on a leash once but showed no resistance, which is a promising sign that she will adapt well to regular walks in her fur-ever neighborhood.

Khloe is crate trained and has a peaceful demeanor when sleeping 😴 in her crate at night. During the day, she willingly goes into her crate when needed, demonstrating her adaptability.

Hello Biggie Paws friends and family. Today we’d like to introduce you to a cutie patootie that’s a little different than the pups you usually see available for adoption with us. Meet Binx!

This cuddly little orange kitty 😻 would make the perfect addition to your family. He’s about 3 months old and has a buff orange tabby shorthair coat. Since making the long journey up north to find his furever family he’s been hanging out in Kenosha, WI, with his foster family.

This guy has it all – looks, brains and a personality that is 100 times his current size. He’s determined to make a difference in this world. You would never know what a hard start he had in life …being hit by a car, which led to him being rescued down in Texas. Since then, he’s only been looking upward and forward. 😍 He’s energetic, agile and able to climb any cat tower in mere seconds. He has an amazing ability to be on one side of a room, and when you blink …he’ll be on the other side of the room, batting around one of his many toys.

Whatever your family composition, this guy is a fit. He is fantastic with kids, loves other cats, and also makes friends with dogs – big or small. After he does the big sideways scary Halloween kitty walk a few times toward the dog or other cat he’s satisfied that he’s established he is their equal and carries on playing away with his toys right next to them. 🐾

He lives his life to the fullest. Binx is just so appreciative for this second chance he got at life. He plays hard and cuddles hard. 💞 He is litter trained and does fine in a carrier for transportation. He’s not a picky eater at all. He’s been learning which furniture is climbable and which should be left alone. His favorite place to cuddle up is high on the cat tower with his brother, or when he’s really tuckered out …on his foster mom or dad’s chest.

Orange tabbies are known for being energetic, smart, social, loyal, affectionate and easy going. Binx checks off all of these characteristics. He’s been excellent having the run of his foster family’s house, entertaining himself with his toys when he’s bored. When you arrive home this loving little boy runs to greet you with the tiniest of meows that will absolutely melt your heart. 😽

This sweet girl is a cuddlebug extraordinaire, always eager for a lap to snuggle on. She's housebroken and well-mannered, knowing basic commands like "sit" and "bed." While she's not a fan of crates, she's perfectly content snuggling with her favorite human or canine companion.

Hi there Biggie Paws Family!
We are would love for you to meet our friend, Jack Jack!

A great balance between puppy playfulness and old dog chill, you may not believe Jack Jack is only 7 months old! He looks like a Doberdoodle (maybe about ¾ Poodle and ¼ Doberman) and is around 50 pounds.

Jack Jack is housebroken (just needed a little time to adjust to his foster family’s schedule), he knows how to walk on a leash, and will go in his crate (but would much rather be closer to his humans!) He also gets along great with other dogs (not sure about cats yet) and his foster family’s kids (they are teenagers, so we’re not 100% on how well he does with little ones).

As I’m sure you can understand, new people and situations can be a little daunting. Jack Jack feels the same, but then warms up quickly. Once he does, you’ll really see his happy personality! Jack Jack loves people and loves to run and play! He really is the best of both worlds… as much as he loves to play - he also appreciates relaxing after some play time and a good nap!

Jack Jack is looking for his forever home, and we really don’t think it will take long for a lucky family to fall in love with him! He is currently staying with his foster family in Medford, WI. This little furball is a bundle of joy! Artos is as sweet as can be, and he loves everyone he meets, especially kids and other dogs. He's a bit of a mischievous pup, always up to something, like chasing his tail or stealing socks.

The name Nala can mean ‘gift’ and ‘beloved’, put that together and you get: “beloved gift”, which is exactly what we think about this sweet Nala pup!

Nala is staying with her foster family in Medford WI right now, but she is looking forward to finding her forever home, and we think she would be a gift to one lucky family! She looks like a Dane mix who is about 30 pounds and around 5 months old.

Nala is doing great at all the puppy skills like going to the bathroom outside. She’s still learning but knows how to use bells! She likes kids (her foster family only has teenagers though, so we’re not sure how she is with small children). Nala is crate trained, but if she sees anyone (especially another dog) when she’s in her crate, she tends to be on guard and will bark and growl. Despite the way she acts when in her crate, Nala gets along great with other dogs (not sure about cats yet)!

Understandably, Nala is a little shy when first meeting new friends, but she warms up quickly. Then her goofy, playful and loving personality really begins to shine! Just like some humans consider themselves “dog-people,” Nala is a “people-dog”! She really loves her humans and thinks she is a lap-dog! Cuddly and affectionate, Nala is sure to be a gift to a very lucky family!
