Biggie Paws Rescue

Biggie Paws Rescue (BPR), is a foster based 501(c)3 non-profit rescue serving WI and IL. All pets are re-homed based on their specific needs and best interest.

Our animals most often come to our attention through rescues in Texas who we have partnered with to help decrease the homeless pet population and reduce the high euthanasia rates in shelters. We believe by educating the public about the importance of adoption and spay and neuter, we are helping reduce that number and hopefully one day we won’t be needed. All pets will have a home and are “adoptab

le” if we find the right family. All animals are taken to our veterinarian partners for a complete examination, worming, vaccinations, spaying/neutering (as breed/age appropriate) and micro-chipped. We provide medical care and a safe, nurturing environment for our animals to enjoy while they await adoption in foster homes. We want our rescued pets to experience love in a real home, getting the love and attention they need while waiting for their new forever families. To ensure these animals are placed into the right loving home, we adhere to a rigorous adoption process. Reference and background checks are performed, adoption interviews are conducted along with virtual home visits. Our overall goal is to ensure the pet is healthy, sterilized, and best match for the potential adopter in an effort to reduce any chance that the pet will be returned. Our organization is 100% funded by donors so that we may provide shelter, medical care, and so much more to the many homeless animals that come our way. We are very thankful for all our fosters, volunteers and donors who contribute their time, money, home and hearts, allowing us to continue our mission of rescuing and rehoming abandoned, neglected and unwanted pets.

SOS! We're officially drowning in a tidal wave of adorable, and we need ALL HANDS ON DECK (or paws, if you prefer)! Puppy season has hit us like a rogue wave, and our grown-up sweethearts are bobbing along right behind them. This 3-month-old Border Collie mix, currently tipping the scales at a mighty 13 pounds of pure puppy potential, is ready to be your loyal sidekick! Malibu is a sweet and independent little lady, but once she warms up, she's a cuddle enthusiast! She absolutely *loves* to snuggle with her humans, especially at night when she gets to share sleeping space. During the day, she enjoys hanging out with her sibling in their enclosure, proving she's a social little surfer. She gets along swimmingly with other dogs and is politely indifferent to the household cats (they're just not her tide, you know?).

**Patches: The Pint-Sized Picasso with a Passion for Play!**

This little masterpiece is Patches, a 3-month-old Border Collie mix who's basically a walking work of art! With her soft white and black fur and a stylishly curled black tail, she's like a tiny, furry yin-yang symbol. And while she's not a big shedder (yet!), she did leave a little bit of herself on her bedding, because even art has its messy moments.

Patches has a temperament that's as wonderful as her coat. She loves people, plays well with other dogs, and is utterly fearless. This little adventurer is known for her daring leaps and her playful habit of "borrowing" toys from bigger dogs (she's got chutzpah!). She's still a bit clumsy, but hey, who needs grace when you've got this much charm?

She's also a natural with kids, having a blast playing with her foster mom's 4 and 7-year-old grandsons. Potty training is a work in progress (she's currently pad-trained), and leash training hasn't even begun yet, so get ready for some fun learning experiences! While not formally crate-trained, Patches willingly uses her crate for eating and resting, which is a great start.

This joyful pup is already showing off her smarts by knowing how to sit for a yummy treat! And if she's waiting to come inside, you'll know it; she's not shy about giving the door a little knock! Even her first bath was entertaining, with some curious little nips at the shower spray. Patches is a champion napper and adores being around people, children, and other furry friends.
