We were EFFED royally 👑. The contractor we hired has TWO ccb's... one under the husband's name, suspended, one under the wife's name, suspended. They "worked" three days, got very little done.
A friend alerted me to their past lawsuits and shoddy workmanship. I relieved them from the job and requested to be refunded the remainder of the deposit. It's SPENT?? $6,000? To frame up a wall?! We bought the man door and service door!
My 2:00 pm client today is a contractor and I had him glance... It's ALL done wrong. I am so sick over this, but grateful that he can step in Monday and fix the errors/ move forward.
People are coming out of the wood work to share their horror stories about TD Contractors (Newberg).
We will be hiring a lawyer. Please send positivity. I'm ready to fight. To jeopardize my business, my home and my family... It's inexcusable.
Update:
I served TD Contractors with a 30 - day intent to file a complaint letter and it's time. I've attempted to be civil but they live in an alternative reality. My second contractor who swooped in to help clean up their mistakes has been getting a reach around from the City of Salem as have I.
When all is said and done, my salon will be valued at $25 - 30k with lost money, extra fees and materials, permits, so please enjoy it.
I hope to have a busy holiday season to distract myself. 🌲
