A local rescue has arranged a place for these 2 to go to a rescue in Hauppage, New York, but needs transport. It is an 8 hr trip one way. They would need to go Sunday or Monday

If you can help or know of a reliable transport person or group, please contact Yvette at 304-517-0644.

Again, these dogs are NOT at our shelter, we are just sharing in hopes to find transport for them for one of our other rescue contacts.

We still have quite a few open spots on our feline NEUTER clinic for Thurs Feb 6th . This clinic is for Male cats only , they need to be 5 months or older . The clinic is $65 and that covers the neuter and rabies. It is pre pay to get on the list , you can call and pay over the phone with a card or you can call and make an appoiment to come in before the clinic and pay . Once again this clinic is for male cats only . We can't do females we do not have the equipment needed . Our phone number is 304 782 4900 . We are open Mon-Sat 11:30 to 3:30.

Little Shelter with a BIG heart!

Located at the end of Wiseman Run Road in Salem, WV, this small shelter makes a big difference to the dogs and cats of Doddridge County. Low cost spaying and neutering is offered, and there are always dogs and cats available for adoption. We love to get the community involved in volunteering. The public is welcome to come to one of our cat rooms and just chill during the shelter’s open hours.
