A Brief History of Companion Pet Clinic

Companion Pet Clinic, PC (corporation) was founded in April of 1982, by veterinarians who wanted to help control the burgeoning pet population and to provide quality veterinary care at affordable prices. Since that date, the corporation has sold several of its clinics, includi
ng the north Salem office to individual doctors willing to continue this tradition. The present owner of Companion Pet Clinic North Salem is Dr. Arthur Mills. He believes that the success of the clinic is partly due to the need that is present in our community, but primarily due to the employees' commitment, devotion, and concern for the pets and clients they serve. In 1994, Companion Pet Clinic North Salem was accepted as an accredited Hospital Member of the American Animal Hospital Association. Only 14% of the small animal facilities in North America can claim this disctinction. To maintain our accreditation, our hospital must meet the associations high standards for quality veterinary care. We are regularly evaluated by trained AAHA professionals to ensure that we maintain association standards and provide the best veterinary care we can.
