We are sad to report that Galileo took a turn for the worse over the past couple days and today we helped him cross the rainbow bridge.

Little man you fought so hard, I will always remember you.

There have been some long nights this weekend, but Galileo is still fighting. He is more pink and more alert. He still sleeps a lot and requires syringe feeding every 4-5 hours, but he is urinating on his own and hasn’t needed as much SQ fluids. He still requires help deficating . I am hopeful that as he gets stronger that will improve, too. Yes, he prefers the litter box..

Meet Galileo! He is a 6wk old kitten who was just surrendered to our clinic by good samaritans who found him in their yard this morning. He was cold (temp did not register on thermometer) flea infested, and had a blood glucose level of 17. Currently warming him up (temp now at 96.1) and getting him to eat. Waiting on FIV/FeLV test to come back. Please keep him in your throughts! More updates to come.

Our clinic recently received a complimentary pet stroller from Tavo which is suitable for animals up to 25 pounds. It includes a detachable pet carrier which can be safely secured in the car and a collapsible stroller frame.
We would like to do a free drawing from our current patients in this weight range who have been seen between October 25th, 2023-October 25th, 2024. New patients are included if they are seen no later than October 25th, 2024.
If you are interested in being included in this drawing, please email us at [email protected] with the subject “Stroller Give Away”. Include your name and your pet’s name so we can verify eligibility.
The drawing will take place on October 31st, 2024, and the winner will be notified via email. We will also post a video of the drawing on Facebook.
We will not ship the stroller; the winner will need to come to the clinic to collect the prize.
