Due to the inclement weather, our clinic is closing and we will not be available for appointments until the weather is safe. We will reevaluate over the weekend and announce status for Monday as soon as possible. Please be assured, any animals currently in our facility are being cared for.

Goodbye dear Brooklyn. You had us all wrapped around your little paws, from the day we found you, pregnant in front of Chipotle's at 7 months to today, 12.5 years later. The clinic just got a whole lot emptier. So sorry we couldn't fix you.

So proud of how my staff came together the past couple days, during the ice. Yes, we had to cancel some appointments, but my employees braved the roads to ensure all the pets in our care are safe. So blessed!

So this happened today. Looks like we will be busy! All will be checked out and if healthy will be vaccinated and adopted out. (One is pregnant). If you know of anyone wanting a cat or kitten, please let us know!

Hope is a 1½ year old Siamese, available for adoption. She was presented for euthanasia due to doing poorly after a recent unplanned pregnancy. She was refusing to eat and had begun projectile vomiting and was severely emaciated. The owner was unable to treat her and felt best thing was to euthanize her to have her not suffer more. Dr Crawford offered the owner another option; of surrender and Orchard View trying to diagnose and treat, then rehome if possible. Hope was found to have an urgent but surgically treatable medical issue and is now doing great! She has gained over 1 pound since her surgery. Her story is in the video. Kudos to my amazing staff! Emergency c-section today and first puppy was stuck. The sack had ruptured and the placenta appeared separated. I delivered the puppy with no sign of life. I handed it off to my staff with instructions to try to revive it while I delivered the second puppy and closed up mom, yet I was pretty sure we were too late. I had them give epinephrine intratrachaelly as a hail Mary. Then, as I was closing, Aubree came to the surgery suite window and show me that the puppy was ALIVE!!!! They did it! Great job, Aubree, Rebecca, Corey, Anna, and Elizabeth...You guys rock!!!!! (pic posted with owner's permission)

COVID RESTRICTIONS UPDATE!

Yes, we will begin allowing clients in our building beginning Friday, July 2nd!

BUT!!!

1. We will limit the number of people entering at one time, so we still ask that you call ahead for building check in.

2. We ask that you wear a mask while in the building, and we will too.

These restrictions will remain in place as we track what happens in the community with the new freedoms (hopefully, only a month or so, but possibly until the end of the year). We want to ensure our staff and your family remain safe while at our business during the transition.

WE ARE SO VERY EXCITED TO SEE EVERYONE AGAIN!!!
