Bailey's Journey, Canine Swim Therapy

Bailey's Journey, Canine Swim Therapy Canine Hydro Swim Therapy and Massage, fun swim, weight management We utilize the BAQUACILTM system to keep the pool sanitized and free of contaminates.

Trained Swim Therapists and Coaches work with your dog in a
12’ x 24’ indoor pool with water maintained at 92°.
The pool water is not chlorinated, no worries of your dogs kidneys having to filter the chlorine. This mean no reason to wash your dog after swimming as Baquacil is peroxide based.
Our experience in Training and Swim Therapy is more than 30 years combined. Using proven techniques f

or rehabilitation, conditioning, and pain relief, the swim therapist or coach works with you to bring your dog to a healthier physical and mental state. Swim therapy may be used as:
a pre-operative fitness regime to maintain the dog’s muscle and fit condition before surgery and after to support recovery. Many Veterinarians in Salem and the surrounding areas recommend their patients to Bailey's. We can give updates to the vets upon request. We need a referral for these scenarios.
an alternative to exercise for congenital conditions puppies are born with and cannot have surgery until physically mature. A vet referral is needed.
spinal injuries (FCE's) can cause impairment of motor function; improvements are often seen by allowing exercise in water, which supports the dog’s ability to exercise his / her muscles while nerve regenerating is taking place. Vet referral is needed.
degenerative conditions can make normal weight bearing exercise difficult and pressure on joints and limbs may aggravate some conditions. hydro therapy can be used in these cases to allow the dog to exercise in an environment where there is no pressure on the affected areas.
overweight or obese dogs can build endurance and lose weight as a result of exercise in a hydrotherapy pool without putting excessive weight on their joints.
Swim Therapy may be used as part of a general fitness routine.
FOR FUN!! We love to just let the clients come in and have a blast in the pool with a great relaxed atmosphere. Training!!
We have teamed up with The Barracks K-9 and brought Taylor Rickert on board to provide training classes, one on ones and behavior specific training.

We utilize the BAQUACILTM system to keep the pool sanitized and free of contaminates. Our experience in Training and Swim Therapy is more than 20 years combined. Using proven techniques for rehabilitation, conditioning, and pain relief, the swim therapist works with you to bring your dog to a healthier physical and mental state. Swim Therapy Pre & Post-Operative Swim therapy may be used as a pre-operative fitness regime, an alternative to exercise for congenital conditions puppies are born with and cannot have surgery until physically mature, during the period before surgery to maintain the dog’s condition, and after surgery to support recovery. Spinal injuries and surgeries can cause impairment of motor function by allowing exercise in water, which supports the dog’s ability to exercise his / her muscles while nerve regenerating is taking place. Degenerative Conditions Degenerative conditions can make normal weight bearing exercise difficult and pressure on joints and limbs may aggravate some conditions, so hydro therapy can be used in these cases to allow the dog to exercise in an environment where there is no pressure on the affected areas. Weight Management Obese dogs can build endurance and lose weight as a result of exercise in a hydrotherapy pool without putting excessive weight on their joints.
