Small rant…

…. Over the last 6+ years we’ve been hired multiple times to walk dogs at our local parks.

Our clients make this request for several reasons including:

1. Their neighborhood is too active (this is for clients with reactive dogs. Some parks have more space so we can have a quiet walk).
2. There isn’t a safe place to walk (the client lives on a highway or dangerous road).
3. It’s the dog’s birthday (you know who you are! Lol).
4. They want to give their pup a change of scenery .
5. They live close to the park and that’s where they typically walk their dog.

But time and time again we are being greeted by unleashed dogs.
And it’s not really fair to the people who are following the rules or the dogs that look forward to their walk everyday.

And let me remind you.
These dogs are not our dogs.
These dogs belong to our clients which means we have to be even MORE cautious and careful about the environment around us. Their safety and well being is paramount to us!

To those who are making our jobs harder than it needs to be, I’m kindly asking that you put your dog on a leash. Please follow the rules.
Please go to a DOG park instead. Stop putting the responsible dog owners/walkers in a bad position.

I feel like a broken record but c’mon!

I hope you’ll see this from our point of view and change your ways because it’s the RIGHT thing to do!!!

Small rant…
