Every other Sunday Schedule starting 12/29/24 :

Our first day of our Winter Mini Clinics was a bit chilly 🥶 and the shortest day of the year, but we had a great day!

Fun in the ☀️ at the North Carolina State Championship weekend. We always have a blast💥 with the Double L Bar Shooters

was on 🔥

Jared rode his CMSA Futurity horse Maverick for the weekend placing 4th Overall at the NC State Championship and 7th Overall on Sunday. Maverick was smooth and consistent all weekend. So proud of this young horse owned by Chris Himes! Maverick even set fast time on Stage 3 Sunday by over half a second😲

Drew Wallace and Red tore it up winning Overall Shotgun, Overall Riffle, Overall Cavalry, and Reserve Overall at the NC State Championship 🏆 They also won the Open Men's All Around title!

Cara and Duce won their L6 class (they were the only ones😂), but put together 4 smooth stages.

Melissa Shaner set multiple fast times for her class throughout the weekend. How fun it is to watch this team run together after being on the road all summer!

Most importantly, the fellowship for the weekend was wonderful. We are blessed with a great team and to know so many wonderful people in this sport ❤️

Our Beginner Mounted Shooting Clinic is postponed to December 14th, 2024.

Who remembers Tator 🥔 (Shorty Peppy Echols), our little red mare that Jared competed on in the 2023 CMSA Futurity? This mare was a rock star shooting horse and very special to Penley Horsemanship since we started her as a 2-year-old. When we heard about Emma looking for a 4H and ranch riding horse, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to put this pair together. Since this spring, Tator and Emma have achieved many accomplishments in ranch riding including qualifying for PA State 4H Horse Show. Please help us wish this team good luck as they head to states competing in ranch pleasure and western horsemanship. We couldn't be more proud of this team❤️
