He's got the energy to run, the depth perception to catch mid-air, and the smarts to bring it back to you. If Pollo drops the ball too far and you say, "come closer," he'll even scoop it up and bring it closer!
Pollo is a big sweetheart who loves to follow people around everywhere they go. He is still learning how to "dog" and is a little unsure around small children, but he's eager to learn and very trainable.
Our staff have really fallen in love with Pollo. We'd love to see him join an active family that can keep up with his high energy.

Pepper just wants somebody to love. Could it be you?
She was brought to OHS Salem in May after her former owner experienced some personal life changes and was no longer able to care for her. Pepper only has one good eye due to feline herpes infection when she was a kitten, and so she's only ever known the indoors.
This easy-going senior girl has lived with other cats and dogs before, and we think she'd do well in another home where she can roam free indoors.
Here's what one of our staff members has to say about her: "When Pepper first arrived, she was a little shy around me. She didn't hide from me, but she also didn't approach me. But the more I visited Pepper, the more comfortable she became with me. I took her cues and went at her pace. And now? We're best buds! Now I just want to see her go to a good home."

Shiloh is keeping herself entertained while she waits for you to come meet her! This 7-month-old female kitten is litterbox trained, she gets along with other cats, and she's nothing but loving with humans. And clearly, she has play skills!
We have staff at Petsmart Salem Oregon until 6p tonight to process adoptions (like Shiloh's!). And we're back again at noon tomorrow, just in case today isn't right for you.

Kitten season continues! We took this adorable video of these three kittens about two weeks ago. Since then, they've grown bigger, stronger, and braver. Yesterday, they were even ready to make the trip to Meow Town, our offside adoption center in PetSmart in Salem!
