Having problems with potty training? I always emphasized that freedom is a privilege, not a right, for puppies. Until they learn to respect the house and its contents, they require close supervision. This means keeping them on a leash and tied to you, in a playpen, or in a crate. By keeping a close eye on them, you can spot the signs that they need to go potty and quickly take them outside. This approach not only helps with potty training but also teaches them about boundaries. When you're unavailable to watch them, use their crate or playpen. Additionally, establish a routine with scheduled feedings, and take the puppy outside about 15 minutes after meals or drinking water. Be sure to reward them with treats for going potty outside.
