Hallmark Ranch Alpacas

They came by the busload, literally!! Last week we had the Buena Vista Boys and Girls Club on Tuesday and then the Salida club on Thursday. 50 kids in each group! Thanks to the awesome directors it went really well. Small groups at a time got to feed the alpacas and the kids loved it! The alpacas were amazing! If I get permission to post pictures I'll share a few.

Girls getaway!! 7 lovely ladies came by to meet the alpacas. Everyone had a good time, including the alpacas. Thank you Jan for including us in your plans and bringing your special friends group to the ranch!

It was a pleasure to host this lovely group, in Salida for a family reunion, and meeting alpacas was on their "things to do" list. We started the meet-and-greet out front, before going back to the pen. The "girls" (newly shorn) were so good considering the group size (oh those enticing treats...). Of course at the end, Roxy came in and was a big hit with the kids! Thank you Alexa and family for coming to see us!

A fun group today on their bachelor/bachelorette weekend. I was worried the alpacas might walk away from such a large group, but they were rock stars, stayed close and took treats from everyone!

Check out our sweet Roxie, who got a nice bath and trim today and looks beautiful. She went to Ange at Le Soleil Grooming in Salida. Highly recommend. Text 719.207.1759 for an appointment. Ange does a great job!

The nice weather is upon us. And that brings more ranch visitors. A really big group came by this week. The kids (and I think the adults too) had a great time meeting the alpacas and Roxie! Thank you Callie, it was great meeting all of you!
