If you’re dreaming of training a therapy dog, Marcia Troutfetter is the trainer you want by your side! With eight years at MuttSchool and a background in education, Marcia knows how to bring out the best in both dogs and their humans.
Before becoming a professional dog trainer, she spent her career as a teacher—often with a therapy dog by her side! Since then, she’s dedicated herself to learning everything she can about dog training and helping clients succeed. She’s an AKC CGC evaluator and a Tester/Observer with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, guiding countless dog-handler teams from puppy through adulthood.
Marcia is all about patience, encouragement, and making training a rewarding experience for everyone. Whether your goal for your dog is to build better manners so you have a well-behaved companion or you want more advanced training to complete the requirements in becoming a therapy or service dog, Marcia is here to help! 🐶✨
