In addition to our 2025 clinic goal of increasing our community involvement, we are also making a commitment this year to staff learning and development.

This week, our practice manager, Angela, attended our company's annual leadership summit. We know that she will return to the clinic with lots of great information and ideas thanks to some amazing colleagues.

We are committed to providing our clients with the best possible experience and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Meet the Team Monday!

Angela Snapp- Practice Manager
After over 15 years in hospitality, Angela sought a career change and transitioned to veterinary medicine. She was drawn to the personal nature of the services provided to clients. Angela finds the clinic’s diverse range of services, including boarding, grooming, preventative medicine, and emergency care, fascinating. She supports the Kansas Jayhawks and the Kansas City Chiefs as her favorite sports teams. In her free time, she enjoys attending concerts and sporting events, traveling, swimming, and, above all, attending her nieces' and nephews' activities.

One of our clinic goals for 2025 is to become more active in our community and find additional avenues we can use to support local pets and their owners. We are so happy to have been able to donate several gently used kennels and pet carriers to Salina Animal Services today and we look forward to building a great relationship with them for years to come!

Each week we will be featuring a member of our wonderful veterinary team for Meet the Team Monday!

Dr. Shelbey Schrader
Dr. Schrader graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. Her love for animals and desire to help them in any way possible led her to pursue veterinary medicine from a young age. She appreciates the variety that veterinary medicine provides and enjoys providing care for both large and small animals, including poultry. Dr. Schrader has an interest in preventative medicine and surgery, as well as providing urgent care for her patients. She strives to provide a comfortable environment for pets and their owners. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, as well as painting and making Native American jewelry. Dr. Schrader has 2 dogs, 3 horses, several cats and goats. In her free-time she also enjoys cheering on the Chiefs and K-State football with her husband.
