Fullmer Menagerie Wags to Riches Doggie Daycare & Boarding would like to let all our incredible clients know that Alissa (Bosshardt) Wood., Will be joining our team on Wednesdays, grooming and sharing some of her vast knowledge .
Alissa started with Fullmer Menagerie when she was in High School where she learned how to manage all different types of dogs from little Chihuahuas to extremely aggressive Mastiffs. Alissa mastered many different aspects of the pet industry while attending College. Alissa received her bachelors in biology/zoology, from SUU and Graduated 2022.

Here at Fullmer Menagerie Wags to Riches Doggie Daycare & Boarding we hear a lot of these comments.

Groomers want my dog drugged,
How long will the groom take so I know how much of the drug I need to give my dog,
Can we make the appointment later in the morning so I can have my vet drug my dog.

PLEASE KNOW…… I do NOT want your dog drugged. When your dog is drugged it can not stand up. When your dog is drugged it can not tell us when it is stressed.
When your dog is drugged we can not teach your dog appropriate behavior on the table or what we expect.

We here at Fullmer Menagerie will take the extra time needed to teach your dog and take the extra time that YOUR dog needs. We care about your dog and its wellbeing.

Did you know fullmer Menagerie Wags to Riches Doggie Daycare & Boarding does end of life grooming?
Nala here is on the last of her grooming days and her mom wants her to look her puppy best when she get up to the greeting line to meet everyone.
It is a sad process that is bitter sweet for us. We are losing a client but that client will be gaining angel wings. Love sometime has it’s difficult moments.
Call if you would like us to do end of life grooming for your pup we keep them comfortable and really take our time. It’s on their terms not ours.

Did you know Fullmer Menagerie Wags to Riches grooms cats?
We prefer the companion not be drugged but, some cats just will not participate in the spa treatment that their parents requested . When they choose not to participate their parents have that option, we are not veterinarians so therefore it is the parents choice.

When a groomer says that they need your dog drugged please STOP and do some research and reevaluate the situation.
Here at Fullmer Menagerie Wags to Riches Doggie Daycare & Boarding we prefer your dog and family member to NOT be drugged.
We may cost more but, you are paying for the education, experience and time that your loved one needs.
I explained to someone the other day that if you had a show car that needed to have body work done, you would not take it to Joe Blow down the street. You would take it to someone whom had the knowledge and experience to do the job correctly the first time.
We have that experience and knowledge.

Please be patient with your dogs.
They live in the present which means they don’t always know you are not leaving them for good because YOU are their world .
We suffer from anxiety in many different forms. We are able to talk through it, but dogs don’t have that ability when anxiety hits them.
Your fur-family member don’t know you had a bad day at work…. They are just so happy to see you.

Olive is In the house!!!
She is a 6 month old Pomeranian, that is up-to-date on vaccination scheduled to be spayed and ready for adoption.
Please go to www.fullmermenagerieanimalrescue.org and fill out your adoption application now. She will not last. We will choose the best caring home for this young lady.
Please know that Pomeranians take incredible amount of grooming and home brushing. Please do your research prior to applying. If you do not have the time or energy please pass this pup up, if you don’t have the time or energy, it is a large sign this IS NOT the dog for you.
