After the 4th of July, our shelter typically sees a significant spike in animal intakes. Help ensure your pets get home safely if they escape with these three essential steps:
1. Microchip & Tags: Ensure your pets are microchipped and wearing current tags. This is the quickest way to reunite with your pet.
2. Up-to-Date Vaccinations: Verify that your pet’s vaccinations are current. This protects them if they come into contact with other animals.
3. Secure Yard/Home: Check that your yard and home are secure to prevent escapes due to fireworks scares.

Don’t wait until it’s too late. Be proactive and contact your vet today. Let’s keep our furry friends safe and sound this 4th of July! 🐾

This sweetie has had a chance to get settled in at the shelter! She is absolutely adorable😍 and playful with a friendly and affectionate nature. She likes to stay close to her human friends for comfort and attention, She is also very dog friendly.

This Shepherd pup is 9 months old so she is at a good age to continue with basic training and an exercise routine. Come out and adopt awesome Arwen Tuesday-Saturday. Adoptions start at 1 pm.

Putting this back out into the universe! We are seeing an influx of orphaned kittens coming in and quickly going through our supplies.
We are most in need of non-clumping litter and Royal Canin kitten canned and dry food. You can purchase these items at your local pet food store or online by going to our Amazon wish list. The items at the top of the list reflect our biggest needs to help support our life saving kitten foster program.

💛🐾Meet Magpie! 💛🐾

This is one stunning dog available for adoption! Magpie is a Border Collie mix about 10 months old. Since arriving at the shelter Magpie has gained lots of confidence and has done really well on walks with volunteers. He enjoys affection and has a playful nature He is smart and responds to the command "down" too.

Magpie does well off leash with small breed dogs and has done well on leash with large breed dogs that are not barking at him. Come out and visit Magpie and fall in love with him. He is looking for a new family that will help build his confidence even further. Magpie is a gem! 😍'

Jacinta is a 1.5 year old husky/shepherd mix with a combo of blue/brown eyes and cocoa coloring….beautiful. She is a very sweet girl, loves attention and will roll over to get belly rub. She walks very nicely on leash. We don’t know what training she has had so adopters should be prepared for a full circuit of basic obedience and house training. She would love a securely fenced yard to romp in and daily walks to keep her exercised and happy.
