If your training your dog Throw away the stay command
it’s a waist of everyone from the dog to the handlers time.
the solution is super simple and will make sense!
(stay is implied in every pertinent command that requires your dog to stay)
For instance a down command for your dog to lay down (please say off if the dog jumps on people and save down for down)
Your dog should lay down till told otherwise down !
for my dogs I train down means stay without the command of stay.no magic !!just don’t use stay and make sure all the pertinent commands that require stay are practiced repeatedly like (I’ll say stay as to not confuse you)
down stay,sit stay,stand stay,any command that needs your dog to stay remember what I’m telling you.its not easy to train a dog I don’t care how good you are every dog brings a new challenge.so getting rid of a big command is a big help just remember
Down means down stay
Sit means sit stay
Stand means stand stay etc.
