Hi everyone! It's officially vacation season and I know from experience with my own pets that it's hard to find someone you can trust to care for your animals while you're away. I care for all animals as if they were my own and can ensure that your pets will be safe and happy with me. That being said, Muddy Mountain Paws is now offering drop in pet sitting services and dog walking.

Just wanted to come on here and talk about what I do for anyone that’s new to my page!

I started this business for all animal types. It’s difficult to take pets to the groomer especially when it’s not their favorite place to be or it’s hard for the owner to get them there for a number of reasons. That’s where I come in. I come to your pet and allow them to be in the comfort of their own home to allow for a fun and stress free grooming session. I offer multiple services for most species such as any kind of exotics, pocket pets, dogs, cats, and even miniature pigs. My services include a**l gland expression, ear cleaning, nail trims, sanitary trims, mat removal, kitty caps, ear plucking, in-home baths, wing and beak trimming for our avian family, hoof and tusk trimming for miniature pigs, and more upon request. I’m experienced in behavior and have been working with animals my whole life. I’m also fear free certified and have been working in vet med for close to 5 years. I do not up charge for aggressive, fearful, and geriatric patients, or patients that have certain health conditions that may alter their ability to go to a groomer. I love what I do and my job is to make you and your pets life easier and a little more stress free.

I hope to grow a big clientele with wonderful pet parents and grow our community. Thank you to all of my current clients and my future clients! You’re all appreciated more than you know!

This is Rudy!
Rudy needed some services today and was thrilled that he was getting some unexpected attention. I tried to do my best to get a good picture of him but as you can see he has a big motor and couldn’t contain his excitement long enough for me to snap a picture. He did have a lot to say the whole time (as most huskys/husky mixes do)but was an all around good boy!

These three got some TLC tonight. Ash had a few choice words during the nail trim but did very well despite the drama. Harley stole the show and soaked up every ounce of attention possible. And beanie was a little hesitant but peanut butter fixes everything! Thank you to both owners of these beautiful babies for giving me the opportunity to care for them.

Oh the drama of a nail trim...
Mr. Finnegan (my dog) has laid this way for his nail trims since he was a puppy. Playing with your pets paws, mouth, and ears are crucial to eventually having a behaved and desensitized adult. I encourage everyone to practice with their pups, kittens, etc. It makes for a stress free day at the groomer and that’s exactly what we want! This is also a great way to prepare for an upcoming appointment. Not everyone has to be as dramatic as Finn, but it helps!
