At River Roan Kennels we specialize in training all retriever and pointing breeds for hunting and competition.

We also offer basic obedience training for all dog breeds as well as puppy programs.

What an amazing way to close out the spring hunt test season! The Armenia Winds Pointing Breeds Club hosted a fantastic event, and it was wonderful to reconnect with everyone. We’re already looking forward to being back in the fall. A heartfelt thank you to all our incredible clients, and a special shoutout to the judges, club members, and volunteers for their dedication and hard work!

• Titus went 4/4 in Master!
• Coal went 3/4 in Master!
• Rip picked up his final pass to receive his Senior Title!
• Jett picked up his first 2 passes in Senior!
• Hildi set the junior field on fire and went 4/4 and received her Junior Title!

“Coal” got it done this weekend at the VCC Hunt Test in Chester SC! He completed all five passes needed to achieve his Senior Hunter Title and now we have our focus on Master!

At only 16 months old, “Rosco” is turning into one heck of a gundog! Rosco’s currently preparing to run AKC Master Upland test this spring he’s crushing it! This dudes a chip off the old block and reminds me so much of his sire “Crue”.

WHAT A WEEKEND!!! We had a blast at the Armenia Winds Pointing Breeds Club hunt test in Chester SC! There was great fellowship with awesome people and got to witness some amazing dog work! I’m so proud of the River Roan pups and blessed to have family and clients that allow me to do what I love! Special thanks to all of the judges, club members and volunteers for putting together another awesome test!
