🚨URGENT NEED ❣️

Kitten season is quickly approaching!
(it actually hasn’t stopped for us)
Our rescue has become the go-to when shelters, rescues & our community members find abandoned kittens.
We took in over 1000 kittens last kitten season, and we really need more help this coming season to be able to continue to provide care for the huge number of babies we have in years past!

😻 WE DESPERATELY NEED MORE KITTEN FOSTERS! 😻

We provide the food & supplies, you provide the cuddles & a warm, loving home for a few weeks! We have a phenomenal team of fosters that are here 24/7 to support you through your fostering journey! We will only send what you’re comfortable fostering, whether that be mom & babies (mommy does the hard work), bottle babies (very labor intensive & time consuming), baby kittens, juvenile kittens, or even mommies, whose babies are weaned.

I’ve been thinking about this for a while, and we’ve had several people request this of us, especially recently.

Because we still have so many kittens available for adoption & the next “kitten season” is right around the corner - I’ve been thinking about extending our open hours to include a couple Friday afternoons each month - every other Friday, maybe? And if we have a great response/need, we may consider opening every Friday afternoon?

We’d only have one or two fosters able to bring kittens, so all kittens would not be there which, for many potential adopters, may be a good things since it’ll be a bit less busy/overwhelming like it is during the regular weekend hours.

That being said…..we truly appreciate our KK friends & value your opinion!

What hours would you most likely visit…. 2-4pm, 3-5pm or 4-6pm?

I’m sitting at home tonight, covered in purring & snuggling kittens, and reflecting….

I’m feeling so incredibly humbled & grateful for our team of dedicated & amazing fosters…for our generous donors & supporters. I’m thinking about the 300+ kittens we’ve adopted into their forever homes this year. I’m thankful they’re not outside in these frigid temperatures, but instead warm, comfortable in homes with families that love them dearly.

That’s all we want for our babies, it’s everything they deserve & more.

We are giving our fosters a much needed break for a bit, and our Kitten Kafe - Cedarcrest Fosters won’t be open again until Saturday, Jan 4, 2025!

We wish you Peace to your Home, Love to your Family & of all the gifts you receive, may these be your most treasured! ❤️

Today is the last day of 2024 that we’ll be open for “regular” visiting hours.

If you have a PRE-APPROVED application and still need to choose your kitten, you’ll have one final chance before Christmas, when we’ll be open on Tuesday, 12/24 from 10am - 1pm. This is also the time reserved for approved/finalized adoptions who are picking up their kittens for Christmas. 🎄

Thank you to everyone who visited, donated, adopted & cuddled our Kitten Kafe babies in 2024.
We’ll return for normal hours again, starting Saturday, 1/4/2025…. And we will have dozens of new babies available then too!!!
