To help find forever homes for the wonderful adult felines currently in our shelter, MRFRS is having a "Name Your Price" Adult Cat Adoption Event on Friday, August 11th and Saturday, August 12th! During these two days only, MRFRS will be letting adopters choose the adoption fee they will pay for their new adult cat.
The shelter will be open to interested adopters from 10:00am to 4:00pm on both Friday and Saturday, but we recommend completing an adoption application before coming to the event. Meet Ron! This handsome and playful 2 year old boy came to us as a stray and is looking to find his new home. Ron is very curious - he will check out and greet each new visitor that comes into his room. He is also super friendly; quick to rub against your legs and he will be vocal when you aren’t giving him enough pets or attention. This cool dude is a charmer!
Ron is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines. He has tested positive for FIV, but that will not affect his lifespan. Our adoption team is happy to answer any questions you may have about FIV.

MRFRS is hosting an Open House Adoption Event on Friday, July 14th and Saturday, July 15th! The shelter will be open to visitors on both days from 10AM - 4PM, so you can stop by and meet our available kitties and find your potential best friend! Are you looking for a new member to add to your A-Team? Then meet Mr. T!
Mr. T is a cool cat looking for a special home. His favorite things are lounging around looking handsome, while getting ear scratches and lovin’. Mr T is super friendly and loves following his people around and being part of the action. However, like his namesake, he has a tough side too and he will bite if he gets overstimulated. So he would do best in a home with experienced cat people who understand the signs when he’s getting fresh and will give him space (no families with young children for this guy!). Mr T has no issues with other cats and wouldn’t mind having a feline friend in his new home.
