A couple of Salisbury clients came to see me today 🤗 ☺. They had a great lunch at "From Scratch"... a really good restaurant nearby... while they waited.

Just some of the cuties I've done since at the new shop. I really hope everyone will consider coming down there, there are some awesome restaurants nearby that you can visit while you wait so you don't have to go back and forth twice!

Counting down the last days at the kennel, here's a few new pups (and sleepy puppies! 💤)
We're on track to open on July 5th at the new location, but if you need your Pup done now I have a couple of appts left for Tuesday the 29th... text me today. After the 30th I'll be off until the 5th. Have a great 4th of July weekend and we'll see you in Crisfield!

Probably time to make a big announcement... I will be closing up the shop the end of this month because I am moving to Crisfield. Have already been living there part-time and all the driving back and forth that we do, we've decided to just open a shop there. I would love to still take care of your puppies and am working on getting in touch with local businesses in hopes of getting discounts for you if you want to wait in town and eat at some great seafood restaurants, or shop some of the local businesses. As you know I normally only keep dogs a couple of hours so while I know it's a long drive (one hour for me to get to the current shop) I'm going to try to make it work for you to be able to visit the area while I work on the dogs, and just make one trip there and back home.
There are boat tours to Tangier and Smith Island, as well as Crisfield Cruises. Lots of things to see and do.
Anyhow, I'm sorry about the coming changes but it's a moving forward life decision. I do not know of any groomer in particular that I can refer to though. You can still use my regular phone number because that's my personal phone and will always still be in service. If you'd like to look up the new address to see how far it is:
4459 Crisfield Hwy Unit C. That's at the Gulf gas station, which also has a deli- restaurant and "The Sugar Shack".
Thanks for all your support over the yrs and sorry to have to make a move again but this time it is permanent. If I don't see or hear from you again, please give your puppies a hug from me because I do love them and would miss them!!! ♥🤍💙

First poodle I ever groomed, the summer of 1981, at my aunt's shop in Parsonsburg. I started out washing dogs for her, then she let me do haircuts. The first 2 shih tzus I ever did were long time clients of hers and the owner said "that's the best they've ever looked"... that's when I knew grooming was right for me. Now 40 yrs later, I've had to slow down a lot, my body definitely feels the accumulation of some long, hard years... but I'll probably be grooming till the day I die 😆

Started the day with 15 doggies to get on the schedule, so call now for spring appts.... They're gonna fill up fast!
P.S. I am no longer doing large breeds at all, been in physical therapy over a month and just can't do them at all now.

* Izzy * says Merry Christmas everyone and we hope for a better 2021 for everyone around the world! Thank you all for a great great year and being so supportive of me in my new location. It's been so busy I hadn't had a chance to do photos but I promise to do better next holiday! I'm actually going to set up a photo booth that I can change for each holiday/season.
