🌿 Slothing on a Saturday! 🦥💚
Did you know sloths can't regulate their body temperature like we do? They prefer temperatures between 68°F and 86°F, which means Bayou often chooses to stay comfy in her indoor enclosure during these chilly winter months! ❄️
Here she is, munching away and enjoying the perfect cozy spot to relax.

Have you seen Anahi the ocelot at the Salisbury Zoo? If not, it may be because she’s nocturnal! Lead Animal Care Technician Adrienne was able to catch her on the trail cam enjoying some enrichment. In this video, she got a raw zoo brand feline formula off the top of the enrichment. Animal care staff also hide eggs, fish, mice and rabbits in the trees or rocks. Ocelots can climb or jump to hunt for foods at the end of the day.
