🎬 Lights, Camera, Action at Lazy J Ranch! 🌾🐴

This past weekend, we were thrilled to open up the farm to students from Lesley College as they filmed scenes for a short movie right here at Lazy J Ranch!

It was such a beautiful weekend filled with fun and unique experience watching their creativity come to life among our home, horses, barns, paddocks and farm family. We love being able to share the beauty and peaceful atmosphere of the ranch with others especially when it inspires storytelling and art and making some wonderful new friends along the way. 💛

A big thank-you to the talented film students for choosing our little slice of Salisbury to help bring their vision to the screen. We can’t wait to see the final cut in April! 🎥✨

Were having a blast at the Topsfield Fair even though its hot hot hot!! Thank you to NEER North for inviting us to participate and show what we do at the Lazy J Ranch offering Equine Assisted Services includng EAL Equine Connection - The Academy of Equine Assisted Learning Inc, HPR Horse Powered Reading and Mounted and Unmounted Horsemanship. ❤️🐴❤️i

Lazy J Ranch & It Takes a Herd – Closing One Chapter, Beginning Another

This week marks the end of our first “It Takes a Herd” 4-week series at Lazy J Ranch and what an incredible journey it has been! 💜

Although it’s bittersweet to wrap up this series, it’s truly just the beginning. Over these past few weeks, new friendships have formed, unforgettable memories were made, and a strong circle of support has grown among our participants, caretakers, team members and horses.

We are so proud of everyone who took part in this journey with us. The courage, connection, and compassion that filled the LJR Round Pen each week reminds us that healing, growth and trust really does take a herd. 🐴💜

Stay tuned… there’s more to come! Our programs are growing, and we can’t wait to welcome even more hearts into our next series.

Sunday Funday at the Lazy J. Meeting new friends, spending time with our regulars and the fur babies of course.

Sunday lesson crew learned so much today! Miss Penny learned how to pick up Sonja’s hooves for the first time by herself , Miss Ava learned how to perfect her cone weaving and circles (and many other great rides not photographed, we were having too much fun!). Lesson slots open on Sundays with Miss Ani, inquire within for more info!
