is a proactive, 501c3 non-profit organization whose purpose is to bring our community together in order to help our homeless animals at the Rowan County Animal Shelter and the Rowan County community. works closely with the staff of the Rowan County Animal Shelter to identify and provide the animals needs. We have total control of where your donations to the animals end up. And your donation will a

lways go to the purpose you choose. Our Mission Statement:

The mission of Shelter Guardians is to provide volunteers and support for the homeless animals at the Rowan County Shelter, and in the community. Through our programs we facilitate shelter adoptions and assist in decreasing the number of animals returned and surrendered to the shelter. Our programs also educate children and youth about humane treatment of all companion animals, and the need for spay and neuter. Our purpose is to reduce the number of animals in need of a home, both at the shelter and in our community, by highlighting the contribution that companion animals can make to a person’s life when they are given a chance.

💗💕Shelter Guardians ( Have A Heart ) partnered with Rowan Animal Clinic and provided 10 heart worm test & treatment to the Rowan County Animal Shelter dogs!!!!!!!!!! All of the test performed were NEGATIVE!!! Including one dog that’s on hold for treatment for another issue …who was also NEGATIVE!!! Thank you so much for the staff that came out from the Rowan Animal Clinic that assisted with the testing!!! 💗💕 Please consider donating to help us continue to supply tests and treatments for the dogs at the Rowan County Animal Shelter!! 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 https://shelterguardians.org/

😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍Thank you so much to the students in 3rd grade at Granite Quarry Elementary and to their teachers...Ms. White, Mrs. Sparger, and Mrs. Ponticelli. They raised $150 dollars!!! It was matched by Mrs. Sparger, then matched again by an anonymous donor!! Their donation ended up being $600!!! We are so proud of these kids and their teachers. Children who have empathy for homeless animals give us great hope for the future.
