First, we are so thankful to all who entrust the care of their furry family members to our team and the many kind and encouraging cards, letters, survey responses and reviews that we receive in return!
Second, we are delighted to announce our partnership with the myBalto Foundation for the creation of our very own clinic Angel Fund. The myBalto Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps veterinarians raise funds to help pets with medical needs in their communities.
Funds are raised through donations from generous community members, rounding up on invoices (if approved), fundraising events, sweepstakes, and more. Use of the funds is determined by pre-set eligibility requirements through the Foundation on a case-to-case basis, however, this platform also allows owners to create individual campaigns to raise funds for their pets' medical needs through the GoFundMy Pet feature. GoFundMyPet is similar to a GoFundMe except all donations go directly to the foundation account to be used for that pets' needs instead of directly to the owner.
ALL donations, either to the clinic foundation account or to an individual GoFundMyPet campaign are tax deductible and tax receipts are provided! Proceeds purchased from our in-clinic retail area, excluding pet food, are donated on your behalf to our Angel Fund or you can donate directly by following the link below or using the QR coded to our donation website and clicking Donate. Our team is excited for this opportunity to further help our community and we look forward to sharing the stores of the pets we are able to help through the use of our Angel Fund.
