Campbell Arabians, LLC

Campbell Arabians started in 1990 with one extraordinary Straight Egyptian mare, TA Toddiah [Almawardy x Gamine CC]. Gifted by my father on the day of my graduation from New York University for the sum of $1.00, which my father also gave me, I never could have imagined the journey with Arabian horses this special mare would inspire. With Toddiah, my "T-bird", as my faithful adventurous companion,

we climbed to the heavens at the top of the Sierra Nevada mountains, swam the Pacific and Atlantic oceans, trekked the Appalachian trail, galloped to victory wearing flat ears in many endurance races, rode the streets of New York City, chased cows, played in the snow, showed halter, dressage, jumpers, western and hunter pleasure. We ate Oreo cookies, grape ice pops and endless bags of carrots. At one farm we lived at, there was a dutch door to my apartment leading to her paddock. On summer nights I would leave the top open and she would sleep with ther head over my bed at night, watching over me. Today, I am the proud owner-breeder of Toddiah's sons and her two incredible granddaughters, Shakhlana's Grace and Leila al Nadafi, as well as the daughters of the great love affair between the Bey Shah influenced Talisman's Zhivago and the 3/4 Egyptian mare, Naughty But Nile.
