How to Save a Life Rescue, Rowan County-Salisbury NC A Non profit, 501(c)3 foundation that saves dogs in Rowan County, Salisbury NC. We are not foster based .

A non-profit, 501(c)3 foundation that saves homeless animals (mostly dogs) in Rowan County, Salisbury NC. A large percentage of our animals are last day urgent dogs, that come from the Rowan County Animal Control. Animals that are in our care are, spayed/neutered, and fully vetted before leaving our rescue to their fur-ever homes. "How to save a life rescue" is a tax-exempt public charity.

Our sweet boy Barney passed away. He had the most amazing home for the last decade and we are so thankful we got to see him every once in a while and babysit him.
Ms Mary Frances Edens was the best momma to our sweet boy and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you for loving him as much as you did and for providing him with the very best care until his last day.
We love you buddy. 😢💔

Another sad update. Our sweet boy Finn (Billy) passed away today. He was literally one of the sweetest goofiest souls ever. Thank you Chris and LeeAnn for giving him such a wonderful furever home.

If you have been around us, you've heard of our "twins". The twins came to us over 5 years ago with their mom and 6 other siblings. Everyone was adopted, including the mom, but the twins never were. I think they decided they wanted to stay with us forever. Everyone always would say not to keep litter mates together but these two were an exception. As the years went by, we realized how truly bonded they are. They share and do everything together. They share food and water bowls, toys, beds etc. Frenchy started having seizures, out of nowhere. Thank you to our amazing vet The Country Veterinary Hospital and Dr Little for always being there for us and our babies. We have started medicine for our boy and yesterday after a trip to the hospital he was happy to be back home with his best pals and his brother. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers so that the medicine does its job and he gets to live a long and healthy life along side his best friend, his brother, Bunny. We love you buddy. 🫶🐾♥️
