Responsible Dog Ownership Day 2016

SMKC's Karen Cottingham and her Sussex Spaniel, Bernadette on DelmarvaLife spreading the word about Responsible Dog Ownership Day. Join us - August 27th from 8 am - 12 PM

A family sport - Lily & RIder

AKC Junior Showmanship offers children between the ages of 9 and 18 years old an opportunity to develop their handling skills, learn about good sportsmanship and learn about dogs and dog shows. They are eligible to compete in companion, performance and coonhound events such as obedience, conformation, agility, rally, tracking, herding, earthdog, hunt tests and lure coursing. The AKC tracks their accomplishments and rewards them with recognition pins, qualifying to compete in special events and scholarships. SMKC is very welcoming of the younger dog fanciers and more information is available in our training center. If you have any questions, please let us know. We hope to see you and your juniors soon!
