11 point just picked up from a great customer. This buck had some cool character. Triple brow tine and knuckled in points at the top, any hunter would love to get one like this guy! I liked that his ears were perfect. Split ears makes it a little more difficult.

My annual tanning marathon has come to an end. Hit my goal and tanned 54 skins in just 2 weeks! Check out some of the pictures I took along the way. McKenzie Tan is the absolute best, it produces snow white skins and provides great stretch. All my skins are tanned right here in the shop. I already measured every skin and will be ordering the forms next week. Thanks for looking!

Here’s 52 deer skins soaking in McKenzie’s Ultimate Acid. 11 pickle barrels in a 12x16 shop. Tomorrow the shaving begins. 🤙🏻

Working late after work. 💪🏻 Yet another productive day in the shop! Today is the third day in a row getting 8 in the salt. I’m getting faster. It takes me about 30-40 minutes to split, turn, flesh and salt one. 25 skins in 3 days!🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌

A couple more picked up. Mule Deer was killed in 2006 and frozen raw for 19 years. Probably the best save of my Taxidermy career! Customer was extremely pleased with how he turned out.
