Working late after work. 💪🏻 Yet another productive day in the shop! Today is the third day in a row getting 8 in the salt. I’m getting faster. It takes me about 30-40 minutes to split, turn, flesh and salt one. 25 skins in 3 days!🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌

A couple more picked up. Mule Deer was killed in 2006 and frozen raw for 19 years. Probably the best save of my Taxidermy career! Customer was extremely pleased with how he turned out.

My oldest brother John shot this nice Axis deer down in Texas back in 2023. I mounted him on Don Holts new Axis form he was working on just after he passed away. I would’ve loved for Don to have seen this mount on his new form. I’m very honored this particular mount was chosen for the front cover of the Van Dyke’s Catalog.
