Yall the good book says the first time God destroyed the earth by water and he promised to never do that again. (The real meaning of the Rainbow) he went on to say i will destroy it by fire the 2nd time.....
Do you think God is giving us a warning???? Hawaii, California, Washington, Canada, Texas, Sabine Parish Louisiana?? We havent had any rain in a while, everything is dry any spark from anything can set a fire. We need to wake up people!!!
I won’t even pretend I understand all of the book of Revelation…but I do understand quite plainly that I do wish to spend eternity in Heaven…..
Keep in mind. The rapture comes before the anti christ. I have been reading the Bible and it really does always come down to this. I have been hearing about the second coming of Christ and the events unfolding since I was a child. The "Mark of the Beast" Artificial Intelligence, microchips, no cash/digital currency, Total Government dependency/control. When we are raising a family, working long hours, some two jobs, lots of things go unnoticed or just get ignored.
No one can comprehend how bad it will be, but we see it happening, bit by bit, on the news everyday.
While the devil is preparing people for the Anti Christ, God is preparing people for the Rapture. I don’t know when the rapture will take place but I know that I won’t be left behind when that trumpet sounds!
I also believe right now that God is giving us a chance to repent. We need to get the Gospel message out!!! Until the Good Lord calls me away from this world to go home, I want to make it clear that I believe in Jesus Christ as the one and only True Lord and Savior. Despite the fact that I am human, and I fail a lot, I believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
This is the best challenge I have seen on Facebook; so, if the Holy Spirit moves you and you’re not ashamed, just copy, and make this your status update.
I’m a believer in God The Father, Jesus The Son, and The Holy Spirit Amen!

So yesterday at about 10am, Tropical storm Debbie was approaching South Carolina, and our ranch.
While feeding and preparing the barn for the storm. I dumped the rain Guage.

At that time it had 1.6" of rain in it.
So since I zeroed it out...
This morning at approximately same time...
This is how much rain we received in 24hrs from Debbie!
And she is spinning around and coming back!
We are due for more rain the next 2 days....

I'm done with it for awhile!

Today is Roman's Ms. Bodi's 29th Birthday!

She got a spa day...
Shampoo, shave, pedicure and her new favorite treat.. Cantalope, (home grown)..

I wrote this verse for her when she turned 25... now as she heads towards another decade...I think I need to share it again...

Ms. Bodi My love

My one true passion, was awakened by a Equine new breed, it was so unexpected , yes truly, indeed.

I thought I had experienced love and companionship from past loyal pets

But in hindsight I have come to find …this gypsy horse is a breed like no other… a one of a kind.

The moment I set eyes on her sweet drafty head, and stocky little body,

I knew she was beaconing to me, to come join her on a journey, one that could only take us to new heights, challenging, me to be more involved with human kind.

To forget the past and move forward in a positive fashion to where I would find, peace and fortitude.

A place to make my mark, have an impact, on something so new,

To help spread the word of what this wonderful equine breed would do ,
for a little love and affection.

This sweet Gypsy Mare, Ms. Bodi took me in a new direction.

One for the most part I had no intention.

She is so full of love and caring, she made me a better person And taught me to become better at giving and sharing.

Ms. Bodi senses peoples’ needs, she is always present and more than happy to please.

Her Sensuality is only surpassed by her Spirituality, she has amazing powers to make things happen, for, those she considers her friends.

And I am sure she will continue her amazing skills right up until the end.

It was after our first encounter, she kept coming to me in dreams, calling louder and louder…

Until, I finally conceded, to pursue her purchase and bring her into my life.

She came to me fully enchanted and has helped me learn how to handle diversity and strife.

Romany’s Ms. Bodi is very special indeed……

I now know that she was brought to me at a special time,
A time, that, I was personally in need.

She gave me purpose and power to persevere, she taught me no matter what people do,
Her love is always very near , dear and true.

Ms. Bodi you can , and never will be replaced…
I know in all your years with me
You have put smiles on many faces
Of this Cynical Human Race.

The Egrets have returned to GRR
THEY love to hang out in the big trees by the cattle and often stay in our field ...

I love that they are eating the bugs and aerating, our fields.
Sometimes they even land on the horses backs and sit there for awhile.

When they cluster flock like in these images, they sound like a crowd of people talking!
I always have to look around to see where crowd is !

Life has had a few surprises up her sleeve. Since life isn't just pictures, I'm going to start a "reunion of friends". The idea is to see who reads a photo-less post. If no one reads this, it'll be a very short experiment. Congrats on being literate. Make a one-word comment about how we met. Then, copy this, post it on your timeline, and I'll leave a word to you. Please, do not leave a word then make no effort afterwards to copy the text. It's fun and brings back memories. It will be interesting to see if the FB algorithm that everyone talks about is true!

Another project I just completed with help from Mr. Kent.
I ran out of roofing screws for the last 2 panels, but will get them this week and batten down the last 2 roof panels.
This equipment shed is a combo of the 2 units that were blown upside-down in our Micro burst in Late July.

I decided I could repurpose them into a tractor shed...it has taken me about 50 hours of work, and new roofing. It isn't totally square, the purlins were kinda torqued, so I had to work around them. But for a equipment shed, behind the barn, it works. I am also storing hay in there so it is easy to feed the horses in the barn!

Tonight's Sunset as we head into Polar Vortex chill..

By weekend we will be in the low 20s feels like teens!

Yikes!! I thought I moved to the South..

I copied this from another FB page, found it interesting enough to want to share it.
I have found this to be so true...Especially with my Gypsy Vanners, they seem to be exceptional in several of these categories. Like remembering people, bad experiences, and those that loved them from babies...

🐴 Here are 15 interesting facts about a horse's brain:.
1. A horse’s brain is relatively small compared to the size of its body, and accounts for only about 0.1% of its total weight.
2. Despite their small size, horses have very complex brains, with a highly developed cerebral cortex, the part of the brain responsible for conscious thought, decision-making and memory.
3. Horses can learn and remember complex tasks, such as navigating a jump course or performing a dressage routine, through a process called associate learning.
4. Like humans, horses have a left hemisphere and a right hemisphere in the brain, each with specialized functions. The left hemisphere is responsible for the processing of logical and analytical information, while the right hemisphere is more involved in emotional processing and creative thinking.
5. Horses have a great memory and can remember specific people, places and experiences for many years.
6. Horses can learn by observation, and often they can acquire new behaviors and skills simply by observing other horses or humans.
7. Horses have a very sensitive sense of touch and can detect even the slightest pressure or movement on their skin. This helps them respond to subtle cues from your rider or guide.
8. Horses can process visual information very quickly and accurately, allowing them to avoid potential hazards and navigate their environment with ease.
9. Horses are social animals and rely on nonverbal communication to interact with other horses in their herd. This communication is facilitated by the horse’s brain, which can interpret subtle changes in body language, facial expressions and vocalizations.
10. Ultimately, like all animals, horses have a unique personality and individual traits that are shaped by their experiences, genetics and environment—all of which is reflected in their brain function and behavior.
11. Horses have a very strong sense of smell and their odor bulb, which processes smells, is relatively large compared to other parts of their brain.
12. The brain, which is responsible for coordinating movement and balance, is also relatively large in horses. This is because horses must be able to move quickly and efficiently to escape predators or navigate through difficult terrain.
13. Horses have a very high pain threshold, which is believed to be related to how their brains process pain signals. While this can be beneficial in some situations, it can also mean that horses may not show obvious signs of pain, making it harder for their caregivers to detect and treat underlying health issues.
14. The hippocampus, a part of the brain involved in learning and memory, is particularly well developed in horses.. This allows them to remember not only specific experiences, but also general concepts and patterns that they can apply to new situations.
15. Finally, studies have shown that horses, like other animals, are capable of experiencing emotions such as fear, happiness, and anger. These emotions are believed to be mediated by the limbic system, a group of interconnected brain structures that play a key role in regulating mood and behavior.

I am reposting this.
A friend posted it and I think It is very interesting......

DID YOU KNOW THIS?

The partridge in a pear tree is Jesus Christ. Two turtle doves are the Old and New Testaments. Three French hens stand for faith, hope, and love. The four calling birds are the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The five golden rings recalled the Torah or Law, the first five books of the Old Testament. The six geese a-laying stand for the six days of creation. Seven swans a-swimming represent the sevenfold gifts of the Holy Spirit--Prophesy, Serving, Teaching, Exhortation, Contribution, Leadership, and Mercy. The eight maids a-milking are the eight Beatitudes. Nine ladies dancing are the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit--Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control. The ten lords a-leaping are the Ten Commandments. The eleven pipers piping stand for the eleven faithful disciples. The twelve drummers drumming symbolize the twelve points of belief in the Apostles' Creed. So there is your history lesson for today!
Merry Christmas!!🎄🙌🏻❤️✝️

Today my new hay barn arrived and is assembled.
This is the replacement shed, for the one that was blown away in the Micro burst in Late July.

It's up just in time for my last cutting to get stored in.
By this time next week it should be filled with winter hay! Yay!

Salvage of the old, and prep for the new has been alot of work. But it does look more like the horse barn, so the whole look, is complimentary to Gypsy Rose Ranch.

Our purple Martin bird house silhouette in the sunset.

Then tonight after a storm, I captured the tree line, again to the west of the barn....

Finally, after a full 2 years here in the soil of South Carolina, one of my Gypsy Rose bushes, produced the correct shade.
In Calif. It always produced this color, but up until now, it has been off color.

Yea!, I am so happy to see it finally naturalization to its new home.

Today is a very sad day indeed.
I see others posting of difficult times. And I can feel for them in so many ways.
As Animal people we love, care, and live for our precious pets, but that always comes at a emotional cost.

It is with sad heart, I post the passing of my very first ET surrogate mare. "DANZIN".
She was Peperoogas ET momma. As well as 2 of Peppys ET foals.
Image, and Asava.

Danzin also carried her own foal by Romi, "Wishbone", a very athletic sport horse.

DANZIN was a granddaughter of Danzig. A very productive Thoroughbred race horse, who has produced several high stakes winning thoroughbreds.

Danzin's last 2 years were spent at my friends ranch in Lodi, Calif., where she was queen of the hill.

She was a great mare, a wonderful Momma, and she now runs with her first ET daughter Peperooga.

Run free dear Danzin, and know we will be together again.
